Clitheroe beer festival.... I was hoping it would have been close or at Waddow Hall but that wasn’t the case. It was in a small fiend at the other end to Waddow Hall. I was a bit shocked at how little there was at the festival. One pizza van, one burger & hotdog van, one tea and sandwich van and one craft stall. A few hay bales had been placed around which was definitely needed as there were no other seating. At the front there was the tent for the bands and at the back the beer tent which didn’t have much choice which again was disappointing. Speaking to staff they said stalls were asked at the last minute to attend. It’s a shame they didn’t have more on for the children. Plus other stalls. We stayed a few hours and finally left. We did have a good laugh n the weather has turned nice. We got a taxi back to the town and went for a drink. The festivals was good but could have been miles miles better. Can’t say it was worth the £12 we paid to get in.

Awesome place. Went camping and there was loads to do. Such a beautiful and quiet place. No late night noise here and well looked after.

Waddow Hall
Excellent place to stay, full of history, it doesn't matter if you are staying in the house as individuals (the food is scrumptious as you'd expect) or attending a training or conference, camping, getting married, the grounds are stunningly beautiful, & a varied choice of activities are available. There is also a pop up Cafe during the weekends. WELL WORTH VISITING!!

I love Waddow, I grew up going there and now as a leader I've taken girls, and volunteered at events separately. I currently have 3 Waddow events in my diary in the next 12 months. Hopefully they all get to go ahead and Girlguiding rethink their 'recommendation'! #saveOURcentresAttached photos from Spooks and Sparklers 2022, one of the smaller events, but one that is getting bigger and better every year! 2022 had the most attendees to date, and it will only get bigger in the years to come ❤️

Attended a conference here and was a lovely venue. As someone who can't eat bread I always worry about conference lunches" but here I needn't have done as lots of healthy options which were tasty and filling!"
