Yeah, bad service. Lots of bad mouthing. I heard bad things about this place, but thought I’d try and give the benefit of the doubt as I’ve not been before myself. Never go back again. Avoid. Many better barbers in Pontefract

Top notch barbers. Never had a bad trim and I've been going there for a year now. Trendy atmosphere and a laugh with the barbers.

Very attentive and 2 way conversation on getting the right cut, just as it should be from a top quality barbers.

Terrible experience and poor service from staff. Appointment had been booked for a week then I received a text advising my appointment was cancelled. I called the shop before setting off to understand why this had happened and the member of staff on the phone could not advise why and could not see any record of my appointment (despite recieving their automated texts) Asked for my phone number but then made no effort to call me back and help me reschedule the appointment..Staff are time wasters.

My first visit to this barbers. Evie cut my hair was very personable, attentive and didn't rush. She did what I asked for so happy with the result. Would recommend her.

My last review criticised the £15 price tag for my 11 year old. However the craftsmanship on display today was a joy to behold, which makes me feel that this was well worth the money.Josh is a great barber and a good lad too.

Worst cut ever shall never go again my hair is butchered

Extremely poor customer service, I had my haircut by an apprentice who the owner acknowledged wasn’t experienced enough to do a technical cut. I spoke with the owner who promised me a callback with a solution. There was no response the next day and it took a further 2 calls for him to then respond. He reluctantly offered me another perm due to mine being completely cut after I’d stated I wanted to keep it. I politely declined due to the experience I’d received previously. When I asked if this is how he wanted to conduct his business he responded `yes something like that’ and then put the phone down. I would also like to mention how the language and conversational topics were far from appropriate with lots of very explicit strong language while children present.Overall very disappointing experience with a lack of respect to customer satisfaction.

Had the pleasure of having my hair cut by Danny, top gent, very patient and did an excellent job delivering my vision of what I wanted. I was served a cider while I waited and the rates were very reasonable. Good music playing and the barbers is superbly decorated, feels like a really classy establishment. Only quibble is that they are so good there is a bit of a wait, I had to make an appointment for four days ahead of time but that is a sign of their success I suspect.Keep it up gents!

2023: 3/5 sadly the culture in this place has turned a corner. The barbers openly talk badly about the manager in front of customers, they’ve stopped washing hair or offering a free beer and I had my appointment cancelled at least three times. The stars are for the cuts I’ve had which have been what I’ve asked for but sadly I won’t be going again.2019: 5/5 so glad this place exists. Proper cut by a pro that knew what he talking about. They take there time and make sure every cut is just as good as the last, as opposed to those who just butcher your hair for speed. I’ve had bad cuts for over a year and eventually stumbled over this place yesterday. Really pleased they do bookings as no one wants to hang around waiting. Already booked in for a follow up in December and will definitely recommend. Thanks gents!
