Went there for christening party.was nice.

Nice set-up.....but that walk to hockey pitches.....especially in winter....Welly Town......

The pitches are fine and the refreshments centre to.However the parking is inadequate and people really need to be more considerate when choosing a parking spot.We've been blocked in for over an hour with two cold children.

Beautifully maintained pitches. I've watched cricket here and unjoyed it. No real shade in the afternoon, so bring a parasol.or sunscreen if, like me, you're there to watch the cricket.Large carpark, but you use it at your own risk, as a six could occur at any time.Clubhouse is basic but has most of what you'd expect. Two ales are usually on. The manager is brilliant, and there's never a wait getting served. It's sometimes used as a venue for events, like the comedy club and bands. I reckon it could.hold about 100 people at capacity.

The worst venue ever! Hired this for my 50th bday. No lights so had to order some in, no curtains on windows so u could see straight out into carpark. On the day of the bday event there were around 50 people still there at about 6.15pm eating hot and cold food and refused to move saying they were members. There was food bits all over the floor and dirty tables which I had to clean and sweep the floors. Eventually people left at 6.45pm to go upstairs but kept coming down to use the bar when I paid for a private bar for my venue. Couldn’t leave any decorations up until the Sunday or leave any cars in the carpark overnight. The bars card machine didn’t work from 9pm so my party had to go to a cash point nearby to get cash out to buy drinks. When I confronted Jo at BJ Catering she said I had to contact the new Chairman who I couldn’t get hold of. If I could give 0 stars I would. Please do not book this venue for any private event. It should just be used as a sports club venue and nothing else!

Decent facilities. could do with a path to the all weather pitch. Go there when it's rained and you'll have to cross the boggy field to get to the pitch.

Great clubhouse. We were really well looked after. Superb facilities and hospitality.

Used for cricket hockey clubs. But a great venue to have party as there is a bar! Out of town venue easily accessible plenty of parking. Home of the Pokey Hole blues club. Last fri of each month. Great blues music by visiting bands, cheap, join thru fb or on the door. £5, then get news / update upcoming events by text. Excellent!

We have used the Cricket and Hockey club for the Gospel choir Xmas party for several years...what a super venue
