Poole Lane Play Ground

Lovely playground,but some equipment well worn.Great walk around the playground,too.Could do with some more toys.

A great little playground for toddlers and older children. The climbing frames are all made from natural rustic looking wood. There are swings to suit all ages, a roundabout, double width slide and picnic tables. The play area is fully enclosed and surrounded by a large field with goal posts to one side. There are footpaths leading through wooded areas and alongside a lovely stream in the nature reserve. Something for everyone to enjoy, whatever their age. There is also parking for a small number of cars.

One thing I noticed when I moved to Dorset, is that the play parks are really rubbish, sorry to say but no money has been put into creating fun and open spaces for children to enjoy. Very limited and the kids get bored very quickly. If it's an adventure playground you're more likely to have to pay to enter it here in Dorset whereas London they are all free to go. This park I travelled to on a bus and it was a waste of bus money my kids got bored after 10mins and had more fun on a rope swing in the wooded walk way. I also notice that all parks for children you have to travel to if there isn't any in your area and nothing is just walking distance if you don't have any close by.

Good for all age groups to use. Set back from the road on a large field. Great for picnics with the kids.

Giving 3 stars as some of the equipment damaged and bordered up but some naughty rascals took the boards off so now accessible at your own risk...council has plenty of ROOM for improvement!!! Very good walks nearby with stream and pathways easily accessible.

I love how different this park is. Little one love the multiple bridges. I don't like that you can get on the slide climbing frame from outside the fences off area as it means I need to be ready to jump the fence if my toddler goes down the steps, ladder or pole on the wrong side of the fence. But we did once see an amazing dog who kept running up the steps on the outside of the fence then run down the slide to get to its own, every time the owner popped back outside the park he'd do it again. The kids were super entertain that day.

The play area is in Kinson Common which is a great place to walk and enjoy nature.

The basket swings have been broken by older kids and the middle swing thing too no seats it's a shame for the little ones

Nice Park next to common a bit let down with few thing for kids and the new one is bit strange is frame that go over fence. Issue with that is open no door etc stop dog coming in cos it stair up and down between in and out of area. Could able let happen the dogs problem if out control.
