I received my outfit for New Year’s Eve on Tuesday due to postal strikes and assumed it would fit fine, turns out it didn’t. I urgently needed someone to do some alterations. I emailed nimble thimbles to see if she had some availability, she told me she was technically closed for Christmas however would help me. She managed to get me in for a fitting on Thursday at 10:30am and I was able to pick it up at 4pm the same day. The alterations are perfect and just what I wanted. Couldn’t recommend nimble thimbles enough!

Samantha is super lovely and amazing at her profession. Altered my wedding dress and from the moment I met her I knew my dress was in safe hands. Extremely well priced and super quick.Last minute I then the hubby to be suit trouser altered less than 24 hours after asking they were ready for collection.Highly recommend.

I contacted Nimble thimbles in out of work hours also giving short notice, I received a reply straight away and she also managed to squeeze me in at a very busy period (school proms). Very friendly and welcoming, didnt have to chase anything up, i received a text ro say the dress was ready to collect in plenty of time, having now had the dress back I have to say she has altered it perfectly!! An amazing job! My daughter and myself over the moon. Can't reccomend Nimble Thimbles enough, will recommend to anyone.
