A wonderful charity and a great way to make connections with people going through the same as you. It’s a support network combined with making music together by singing for pleasure. Thoroughly recommend.

Forget-me-not Chorus
Joining in with the Forget Me Not Chorus (FMNC) has given my wife and myself a completely new dimension on coping with dementia. We look forward to our weekly singing sessions, and these are so professionally, caringly and sensitively organised and run and we appreciate so much the committment of the staff involved.I would highly recommend anyone who suffers from this dreadful illness to make the effort of joining FMNC if there is the opportunity locally. The camaraderie and friendships engendered by making music together adds a different dimension to coping with life.

Forget-me-not Chorus is the most wonderful organization with incredibly talented and dedicated people. I own and manage a small care home and my residents benefit from the weekly session tremendously. They add value and help our residents achieve an enjoyable day. We can't thank them enough, and long may they continue.

I am so happy to be back supporting a couple of FMNC projects. It is a joyful experience to see how encouragement & support helps to improve engagement & bring a smile to their faces. The choir is so supportive of one another, we’ve made good friends and look forward to seeing each other each week. The choir leaders are so full of energy and humour, their enthusiasm has no limits. It’s fabulous to see our mother centre stage, enjoying the singing and the banter, it’s the highlight of the week.

I am writing on behalf of my wife who has dementia and just loves the forget-me-not-chorus in the new location in Bodelwyddan. She feels so welcomed and cared for and the afternoon session is so much nicer that the previous Thursday evenings. Forget-me-not Chorus
I accompanied a friend to Ty-Hspus this afternoon and Verity and Ben were there to give us the most wonderfull afternoon of singing. They included everyone of us and we all enjoyed it so much the roof nearly lifted off.Verity was outstanding and her voice so amazing that we all wanted to join in with her. She and Ben lifted the spirits of everyone that was there and we all went home with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts.Well Done Both.

Forget-me-not Chorus has been a part of our lives for many years. The commitment by Kate and the team is second to none. I see the faces of our residents light up when they interact with a sing along, match a rythmn or just tap their feet. Every session ends with an uplifting feeling. Thankyou FMNC!

Mum and I joined FMNC 6 months ago and it’s been the highlight of our week ever since- it’s had such a positive impact on both of us. The sessions provide a real sense of purpose, the opportunity to meet others and above all else, bring great joy to everyone involved- it’s so uplifting! The Team who run it are absolute angels and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a positive experience.

Forget-me-not Chorus
I'm an activity coordinator in a care home and I love the Forget Me Not Chorus!I've never seen residents be so engaged with a singing activity.They love singing along to things such as 'When the Saints Go Marching In' and it includes encouragement to movement which is great because they are clapping and moving up and down and side to side without realising they are exercising.
