Only went for advice, didn't really get answers to my questions, but I was told how much they charge!

Very experienced company, highly recommended, Any electrical faults then look no further than this company.

I dropped my van off at 8am and by 10am I had a call to say they had found the cause of the dashboard not working and, by noon it was fixed. I was delighted with everything from the speed of answering the 1st call and giving me an appointment to the very good price for the work done. A definite recommendation from me. Thanks.

Credit where credit is due - I had a company representing the AA come out to my vehicle (a supplementary partnered company, who were unable to diagnose the problem). After the diagnosis from the AA's partnered company, I ended up phoning round several other companies, and no-one seemed to want to take the vehicle on, bar Autoelectrix. Arrangements were made with the AA, and it was dropped off there. Customer service, price and timescales were all excellent by todays standards. All back and running perfectly - very pleased.

Poor customer service. Brought the car in for them to have a look at 4 different things: the electric roof and the battery swap were simple enough and they've completed those without issues.As far as the other two go:I had left a document with all of the things I wanted them to look at, plus mentioned it in person and over the phone, yet when I came over to pick up the car, they had simply ignored one of the checks and they wouldn't let me leave the car there for them to complete the work, I had to take time from work on an another day to come and bring the car again.I had asked them to have a look at a non-working electric window, and while investigating that, they couldn't get the door latch working again so I had to pay for a new one and pay for it to be fitted, which I agreed to, but despite that, when I mentioned that in fact I was paying to fix something that wasn't broken to begin with, they were quite rude and acted like somehow I was the one at fault.Same when I brought the car in a second time for them to have a look at a wiring and socket issue that they should have checked the first time, I was met with a dismissive attitude and rudeness, like somehow I was the one at fault.Wouldn't recommend.

Used these guys for the second time with the first time being in 2016 after they where recommend by local garage. I turned up unannounced with my car at 9pm and the lovely gentleman told me my car should cost between £120-160 to repair (faulty starter motor on F30) and should be ready by the afternoon. Very lovely gentlemen give me a quick Diagnoses and breakdown of prices.I got phone call at 11am saying my car was ready for pick up and it had been repaired.Very Professional Family run business and helpful mechanic. Hopefully I won’t need to use you again.Strongly recommend.

These guys were incredible! Fantastic response to calls and queries, and where others had (for example) diagnosed my car with a Body Control Unit fault, these guys in just an hour not only determined it was a simple wiring issue, but ALSO fixed and changed some of my bulbs! AND for an incredibly low cost too!! Cannot recommend them enough! If you've got car electronics problems, this is THE place to go!

Beware of this companyI brought in my Renault Clio as the windscreen motor was not working. The garage i usually go to advice me to go to autoelectrix to see if it’s an electrical fault first so I brought in my car and got a call few hours later saying the windscreen motor needs to replace I’ve got quoted by autoelectrix that they can get me a part for £180 plus vat, so decide to get my part which worked out much cheaper so I brought a motor I brought online and called them up, and I gave it in few hours later I got told it’s faulty and the person on the phone told me to order another part he gave me a code, so I order a motor again for the second time so I gave the new part in again and next day I get a call saying the part is faulty, so I decided to tell them I want the car back I paid them £90 including vat which I’m happy to pay for there routine electrical check I end up going to my regular garage I usually go to and they fitted in the first motor it was working and also the second motor the garage fitted in also worked I wasted time and money I left my car with autoelectrix for over 1 week running around back and forward they lied to me and wasted my time and money from the sound of it they wanted me to buy the part from them, so they can Profit more, please don’t trust these cowboys they are scammers and liars all this headache for me, I wasted my time and money

This is one of the guys that gives the auto trade a bad name. After three days my car was exactly as it arrived. His invoice is for £776 including a part which he says was supplied by another company which is also his. He told me to take the car without testing it and it had no indicators working and the windows didn't work.Fraudulent is a nice word in his case.
