Unfortunately I didn't get the name of the lady who served me, she had a broken arm. However her service was by the far the BEST customer service I've received in a very very long time. She was incredibly patient, no rush and helped me secure a better deal on my purchase! Thank you

Paid for a 1kg gold bar as a gift over a month ago still have not received it. No response to messages sent. Won't be using them again.

I went here for the first time and had a really bad experience.1. The paper on the door says to scan the QR code to open an account online as you need to have an account to carry out transactions with. I created an account and was told later inside that I have to wait 1-2 days for the account to be approved; it took a few hours, but I wasn’t told of any of this! The paper should include this information.2. I rang on the buzzer multiple times as I was soaking the rain, but Suzie who replied on the intercom very abruptly said “YOU ONLY NEED TO RING ONCE”. I still apologised for this afterwards.3. When I was told I need to wait for the account to be approved, I asked if I can buy online and collect; I was told this can take a week.My point is, there should be CLEAR information on the door stating whoever wants to purchase something needs to have an account AND it can take some hours for the account to be approved. This would help avoid wasting time going into the shop for no reason, and customers can come well prepared.I see there are many other bad reviews, mostly due to Customer Service, which doesn’t surprise me. I was looking forward to coming here due to admiring Baird & Co. It also costs to travel to the branch so I spent a bit of money for no reason which adds to the total amount being spent in purchasing gold.

I visited the store to find out about buying gold and the process. I was served by Tara who was exceptionally professional, helpful and knowledgeable. She was very patient with my numerous questions. Excellent customer service.

Claire is an exemplary example of how you communicate and help clients when it comes to purchasing high value investment products. She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to help with any of my enquiries. She is also very patient when I take my time to decide which products to finalise in purchasing and I never feel rushed.Bairds itself have a very good range of products every time I visit and even though some may disagree I find their in-store counter service much better than most other equivalents in the area. The waiting time is uncontrollable and unpredictable but sometimes it is worth the wait compared to venturing around London to find an equivalent bullion company that you can trust.Once again thank you Claire for your willingness to always help me with my investments.

Late response to emails. 5% charge for buy backs. Slow to confirm transactions. Wont be using them again.

I'm sure the location in London is great. But ordering online was an absolute nightmare. I wish I had seen the other negative reviews before wasting my time. I placed my order for a Gold bar and didn't hear anything for over a week. So having been charged and after spending a lot of money, I sent an e-mail to ask where my order was. Never got a reply. I sent another e-mail a few days later. Again, no reply. I sent another. 2 weeks had now gone by and they finally replied asking me for my order number. I replied that same day. Yet again I didn't get a reply for another week...I gave up and asked for my order to be cancelled and to have my money refunded. What's funny though is they replied to that e-mail the very next day haha. It was a total of 22 days I waited with no update on my order.They said they were having troubles with the website. But I personally don't see how that stops someone spending 2 minutes to respond to my e-mails. It's funny because I cancelled my order and ordered from The Royal Mint instead and they got my item to me within 48 hours. So I won't be using Baird and Co ever again. I'd rather pay extra premiums elsewhere and actually get what I paid for.
