Sean Symington is an absolute gem. We bought a Georgian Villa that needed updating internally and I had a picture in my head of how I wanted it to look. From the first zoom meeting with Sean it was clear that he was able to listen to my ideas and then come up with ideas to compliment and improve on mine! Working with Sean is delightfully easy; he has the gift of not being pushy and is super responsive. We worked together on planning every room before Sean put together the design concept, once agreed, we started work. We signed Sean to do the design and manage the project alongside the team of builders and decorators already in place and he worked brilliantly with all of them. Despite the usual setbacks during a project Sean kept to deadlines and budgets and agreed everything with us as it progressed. We moved into the finished house in December and I couldn’t be happier, it looks and feels exactly as I imagined - but better!

Sean and his team are amazing; responsive, creative, collaborative, patient (!) and incredibly generous with their time. Sean quickly understood me and the look and feel of my home that I wanted to achieve. He had so many good ideas and gave me the confidence to be braver in my choices which I am so grateful for. Sean was really engaged in the project from the first call. Really understood what I wanted and was able to interpret it into a fully rounded design plan. The level of detail and support was incredible, more than I could have expected. Great discussions about every aspect and where I wasn’t sure he either sent pictures to show the concept or adapted it. Thoroughly enjoyed the process and the outcome was amazing. As soon as I spoke to Sean about my little studio in Chelsea, I knew he understood my vision for a boutique hotel type space that would stand out from the crowd. Sean immediately understood my style and made great recommendations on colour and furnishings that took me slightly out of my usual comfort zone but at the same time incorporating materials I love. Every design decision has been spot on. Sean has been incredibly patient with the time taken to compete the refurbishment of a space in a listed building. His incredible enthusiasm for the project has made the whole process a pleasure. The project is now nearing completion and the results are fabulous! . It was a fantastic experience working with Sean -excellent service with great attention to the smallest of details. He managed to work his magic with our living room and made it stylish, functional and still cosy and that’s exactly what we wanted.
