Well situated on the corner of Lothian Road and Fountainbridge and with good opening hours so handy for popping in after work. Shop is fairly small so doesn't have an extensive range of all brands of makeup, skincare, haircare etc but it does have enough if you are just after essentials. Small range of drinks and snacks.

This took me by surprise! Now anyone who knows me knows that I like top end places, especially with my lotions and potions. Now I am also a strict vegetarian, so have been trying to only use products that are not tested on animals or have any non veggie ingredients and that the companies producing them are members of PETA (People for the ethical treatment of animals.Now that is a big ask and amazingly Superdrug are on this list. I have been in a few times and I am now using their face wash daily £3.49 a bottle compared with my previous £27 a bottle more expensive brand.Now I am aware that it doesn't have the plush surroundings or snazzy addresses of its counterparts, I am pleasantly surprised and I have even joined up to their points card.Well done Superdrug on your good ethics!

Bunch of unprofessional and rude people!!! You’ll be better served in prison than in this shop. Btw no tasters displayed so you have to guess the inside of the product especially when it comes to make up and perfume. They probably keep them to them selves. And no you can’t return the products or you get patronised by the store manager

Nice wee shop with an abundance of cosmetics, hair care, teeth care, some intimate women’s care, any toiletries you need you will get them in here. Friendly staff and great if you can’t manage to get to the larger Superdrug.

Unprofessional staff and unwelcoming. I felt super uncomfortable by asking a question. Seems like she was the manager and didn’t ask if I need it help just assumed I was applying make up straight into my face. For a person that never wears make up I didn’t felt she has a clue how to deal with customers. Mainly taking talking themself in the headsets and forgetting the customers needs.

Members of the staff walked with me around the store to find the UK equivalents of items that I use in the USA. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Their prices were reasonable and they were open until 18:30 on Sundays. Very convenient for a Yank spoiled by drug stores that stay open till the wee hours.

Was in this shop on my birthday and was followed by a security guard throughout my shop and then had very poor customer service when trying to get an explanation. Then started a formal complaint procedure through their Web chat which is not fit for purpose. Very disappointed with the response from management in particular who were ignorant and anonymous.
