I purchased a BIBO as my son has Cerebral Palsy & learning difficulties & I wanted him to safely manage this instead of a kettle. The first machine’s touch screen failed to respond on a regular basis so hot drinks would overflow as the screen didn’t recognise a finger touch. Second machine did the same after a while. £74 to replace filter every 6 months makes it a costly machine. I wouldn’t mind so much if it was reliable. Customer Svcs Manager clearly needs training as just explained it’s unsafe for my son and I was totally dismissed with “I’ll pass that information on”!! Not in the least bit interested. So I’ve just ordered a VIRGIN Pure Water system instead at £200 less!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN BIBO. Shame on you.

A great product, easy to use and thoughtful, creative design. What sets it apart has been getting help from the lovely BIBO team. Because you don’t need to change filters often, I can never remember how and every time I’ve been guided through by their lovely team. Always so polite and friendly, it’s always a pleasure talking to them if I’m looking for another product or need help. I’ve had my BIBO for 3 years now and never had regrets.

I purchased a BIBO Classic and would not be without it. Came promptly and my husband is a plumber so he installed it in and we use it so much, obviously for tea, coffee etc and the chilled water is amazing. I also use it to put hot water in pans so cooking is quicker. Customer service is very good, you only have to call with a problem and it is solved in minutes. Would certainly recommend this company and the product.

There are lots of reviews here about how great the Bibo works. I agree, it’s a fantastic piece of kit.But what if it’s faulty when it first arrives. Well, I had such a scenario. I have to say at this stage the service from the company has been absolutely exemplary and some other companies should follow their lead in customer service.When my Bibo arrived it was leaking water excessively. On examination I discovered there was a component broken off its position inside one of the side covers. It seems it was damaged enroute from The UK to Ireland as the company have assured me they rigorously test every unit immediately before it leaves their warehouse.As I am very familiar with replacing components in this type of device I suggested to the company they send me the replacement component rather than sending the whole unit back to the UK for a replacement. They done that and after fitting the component it showed up a fault with the UV lamp. Again, on my suggestion they sent me a replacement UV lamp. After fitting the UV lamp it still had another fault that was not visible to the naked eye, looked like a fault with the motherboard / control unit. It was jointly decided between myself and the company at this stage that the best thing to do was to replace the unit altogether as it was unclear if there might even be more damage. It seems one of the transport companies done a lot more damage than was originally thought.All through this process the company responded very positively to my emails and other correspondence. I would send them an email and get a reply in a very timely manner.My replacement Bibo is now up and running and works brilliantly.I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. They have been brilliant throughout this whole process even though it was no fault of theirs that one of the transport companies damaged the unit before it got to me. I cannot praise the different staff in Bibo Water enough, all of them have been very pleasant and extremely helpful to deal with.

Not just an addition to the kitchen, darn near an addition to the family! We no longer drink water... we drink 'BIBO water' - all day, every day! We bought our BIBO Classic last April when my wife and I shifted to working from home full time... Already we both consume a lot of water, but this little wonder has increased our access and enjoyment significantly. It couldn't be simpler to operate and, unlike the experiences reported by some, we enjoy piping hot water for coffee and tea and brilliantly chilled water at any time. No mess, no fuss. Filters are simple to change and are cost-effective, requiring replacement less often than many other appliances. We're much happier to dispense from this appliance than a floor-standing model and certainly appreciate not having to purchase, transport, and lift into place bulky replacement water bottles. Beyond the efficiency of the appliance and quality of the water itself, we are thrilled with the exceptional customer care we've received from BIBO - friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. If you drink water, get a BIBO!

I love my Bibo! The water where I live is hard and if you let it stand for a few minutes, has that horrible chalky taste. The Bibo has fixed that totally, it took a week or so to fully 'kick in' and then boom, really nice tasting water. It is important for me, because my main drinks are water and herbal teas (with herbal teas, they are a more delicate taste than tea/coffee and the water taste can't really be hidden) so the quality of the water is paramount.They are easy to maintain and over time, save a lot of money on buying mineral or bottled water (I was having to due to how disgusting the tap water is) and obviously, it is therefore more environmentally friendly as well.And I've found the customer service second to none, lovely people run the company and they have been very quick, polite and friendly to respond. They also make it easy to replace the filters because you can subscribe and they send the items out when required.All in all, even though I was slightly concerned spending quite so much on a product I hadn't got any experience of, I am delighted I did. One of my best purchases, no doubt at all.

Regretting my costly mistake. Having had Bibo for just over a year (and this is important) it started leaking. I have religiously followed the descale routines but despite this I came back to my wooden worktops running in water and my coffee machine etc. sat in water. From the overflowing drip tray it was clear this had come from the spout. I descaled and system was fine for another fortnight when it repeated the same overnight leaving one nice watermarks on my wooden worktops. A reminder to oil regularly.I spoke to Bibo to cancel but the contract is for 12months blocks with a 90day cancellation miss this and like me, unfortunately it did not failIn this window, and you have to pay out your remaining contract for a system now disconnected as I don’t trust it even if it replaced.

We brought a BIBO just over 6 months ago and it has been excellent. When we moved into our new home last September I couldn’t take to the tap water, it has an unpleasant aftertaste. We tried using a Brita filter jug but the taste was still there plus I really like a glass of ice cold water. Having looked at several machines including Virgin Water, I took a chance and ordered the BIBO and am really pleased I did. I received the usual response from my other half when I told her I’d ordered it ‘what gizmo have you brought now?!’ type reaction but she loved it straight away. No need for a kettle anymore and also have ice cold water whenever we want. Had no technical problems like leaks or anything, it’s brilliant.

Purchased a Bibo Classic in 2018 and purchased extended warranty. If you do that today you get 4 years warranty, 2 standard and 2 extra years. Our product has failed and the cold water tank is leaking. I call the company and I am told that in 2018 they only offered 1 year warranty as standard and 2 years extra so the unit is out of warranty. Unless I can provide proof that it is 2 + 2 years but ironically the purchase receipt just says 'extended warranty' and does not state for how many years.Very poor customer service and I believe they are lying that the warranty periods have changed.

The Bibo machine is fantastic!I've had one for about 4 years now, the convenience of having chilled cold water instantly is amazing, and not having to wait for the kettle to boil when I make my cuppa in the morning is great. I had one issue in the whole time I've owned it, which was a leaky filter cartridge, customer service replaced it straight away. Very happy with my Bibo machine and the service.
