I wish I had discovered loose lead club when my doberman was a puppy. It would have saved a lot of blood, sweat and tears not to mention money! I tried all extremes in terms of training. Paul’s approached is much more balanced and was exactly what we needed. I can’t even begin to explain how much the sessions and group outings have changed our life. I even had a stranger come up to me recently to say how well behaved my dog was and that we had such a lovely relationship! Ultimately I think it was me who needed the training and not my dog! Now when I’m out with my Doberman and he is faced with a challenge, I just think ‘what would Paul do?!’ And thankfully he has equipped us with the tools to navigate any situation

After struggling with our dog, Ted’s, lead walking and recall, it was recommended to us that we get in touch with Paul.Training sessions with Paul have helped me refine and improve how I communicate with Ted, taught me how to use training tools, shown me the importance of play, and given me more confidence in handling Ted.I now walk Ted off lead with the confidence that I can recall him from distractions such as other dogs. My relationship with Ted has improved which in turn leads to higher engagement and makes training easier.We have also attended group classes offered to Paul’s clients. The group sessions have provided a great controlled environment to put Ted’s training into practice around other dogs.Thank you for your help Paul!

We asked Paul for help with our complex 2yo entire male vizsla. Despite a good level of general obedience, he had begun to suffer confidence issues, resulting in him making poor decisions around other dogs. He stayed with Paul for 3 weeks to proof some of the obedience behaviours I wanted to see and to build confidence and manners/neutrality around other dogs. He’s come home with a plan in place to continue building confidence and we are seeing positive results. Would definitely recommend.

2 words… Life Changing. Paul has helped us out so much with our Vizla/GSP, Rex. With an incredibly high prey drive and general crazy energy we reached breaking point with how to manage him. After just 1 session, we knew we’d made the right decision, we couldn’t believe the changes in such a short space of time. Before finding Paul we had tried 3 trainers, 1 dog behaviourist and multiple group sessions, all with no success.4 months later and we’ve got a dog with off lead recall, much more freedom and we now know how to manage him in difficult situations.Our family nickname him is ‘wonderful Paul’, I think that says it all!

I've worked with a number of trainers over the years to help with our 3-year old Working Cocker's issues and Paul is without a doubt, the best we've come across! He breaks the training fundamentals down into super easy steps, doesn't over-complicate things and gives practical advice that actually works in day-to-day life.Even after our initial session, Paul checked in regularly to see how we're getting on and offered further feedback and advice when Woody's behaviour has taken a step back.Our walks are now calm, with lots of loose lead and engagement from Woody and we can confidently let him off the lead knowing that he'll be safe and will come back first time, no questions asked! I honestly never thought Woody would be the dog that he's becoming and had assumed that he'd be on the long line for life so to be at this stage and having such amazing guidance from Paul is such a great feeling. You only have to look at his own dog and his videos on Instagram of his success stories to see just how great a trainer he is!If you're struggling with your dog in any way, I couldn't recommend Paul enough!

I had been struggling with dog reactivity for some time with my young ridgeback, to the point where I was getting up at 5/6am to avoid anyone else with dogs in the park. I was incredibly stressed & had bit breaking point with it. Paul has helped us so much, and taught me to navigate this. It’s by no means a quick fix to send your dog away for training, don’t underestimate the amount of work involved in maintaining what your dog has been taught. We’re still working on it, and I’m having to unpick my own stress around it which of course the dog picks up on and reacts to…! But we’ve made great progress and I’m sure this will continue. Cannot recommend Paul enough! Our rescue staffy x patterdale was highly reactive and had extreme prey drive. After a year of trying to train her ourselves she had made improvement but Lola was living life on the end of a longline. With Paul’s help she is now able to have the freedom we thought she’d never have. After much success with our first dog we asked Paul to help with our second terrier who was a scatterbrain. Now we have 2 happy well behaved terriers who often are complemented on their behaviour. Not only has Paul changed our dogs lives but ours too.

Hands down the best dog trainer ever!! We had our dachshund stay with Paul for a board & train for 2 weeks - she went with high reactivity to loud noises, traffic, Kids on scooters etc. which meant we never took her along busy roads or into shops/restaurants etc. She has come back much more relaxed, able to walk on the lead without barking, and can relax in busy environments. Thank you Paul, absolute legend!

We came to Paul with our rescue dog that was 2 years old, after having tried to train her ourselves! There always just seemed to be a few things that we were missing and our frustrations were growing. It felt like we had exhausted all our training options... until we found Paul at Loose Lead Club! Debi (our dog) had some trouble with her recall, reactivity and lead pulling... but after an intensive 2 weeks with Paul, we can safely say that we now trust our dog fully off lead to come back with her rocket recall. Gone are the days of pulling on the lead too and now she can even walk past any dog and minds her own business! I cannot recommend Paul enough, he has really allowed us to enjoy our dog walks now, and have full trust in our dog. Also our dog seems a lot more fulfilled and happy as a result.
