Fished Willow today, 29/9/2023.Caught barbel, bream, rudd, perch, golden tench, lost a good carp but had a great day.

Really nice place, been a couple of times now. Lost 2 carp on the waggler the first time and the second time today I managed to pull in a beautiful mirror from right under the basin where I was fishing. I also lost 3 carp today too but the fish bite.. Usually the carp start coming into the bank from 4 onwards... Bait up and enjoy!

This is an excellent location. My son and I have visited twice and come away on both visits happy and excited to visit again. We fished the willow lake which has a large variety an well stocked. The environment is tranquil and hard to believe it's so close to the A6 providing great ease to find. The owner is a very friendly guy. He was very helpful with advise on locations around the lake and the known baits. All in all this is one of few fishery I would recommend. Thanks for an awesome location and fish. Mike
