Firstly, we are grateful our table of 12 could be seated at 7pm on Friday night and overall our experience was a positive one. The starters of grilled meat like chicken satay and teriyaki pork were tender and flavourful and the som tam and ribs get an honourable mention however, the Tom yum soup, larb and mains were really quite salty. The service was friendly but inefficient, our waiter took all starter plates and cutlery away but we had to wait for more cutlery to be washed as they'd run out so our salty mains got cold. Portion sizes were small and expensive - it feels like tapas so charge tapas prices not full main prices. We had to go and buy snacks after as we weren't satisfied which is a real shame.Feels like food and service need a bit of tweaking to make this a place you want to return to but as a one off, it was OK.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time!We booked a table for 16 of us about 2 weeks ago and were told that this would not be possible but they could do 2 tables of 8 which was fine!We came and sat down and waited over an hour to have our food order taken and the drinks took an hour to be served to the whole party! The food, when finally served, was bought out where 1 table was served while the other had finished so we assumed that this meant the tables were 2 separate tables! The server also tutted when we asked her to repeat what food was in her hand!We were shocked to find we were forced to pay a service charge as we were a table of 16 but were not treated like this at all!Overall, a very poor experience, will not be coming back!

Visited last month. Solo traveller. Booked online because someone has recommended this place to me. Venue looks lovely, it has such a good potential but considering the whole experience and prices it is a one star from me. Very slow service, I waited long time just to order a drink, and then another 5 minutes for them to bring it up to me. ( it wasn't very busy). Went for two starters to try and a main as I do love the spice. Starters looked lovely, but squid was very chewy and batter was lumpy soggy, must have been undercooked. Ribs nice but arrived cold ( I questioned the staff whether that's how its served but she said they must have been prepared before the other starter and it needed to wait to be served) bit shocking taking the fact its a tapas Thai, surely they are used to serve multiple starters at the time ? Main dish was a big amount of rice with chicken, lovely spice. Almost no veg in there, no moisture not edible. I was waiting for my beer to wash the rice down but that seems to take ages so I gave up. One good thing is that the manager actually gave money back for the main and apologised but it still seems like an expensive place with no great service. Oh sauce for the calamari was delicious. That's about it.

One the best Thai ever (and definitely in Portsmouth!) . My aubergine curry was just amazing and cocktails are great too. Service was friendly, maybe a bit disorganised but did not mind it. Great setting as well. Reasonable prices !

After looking at the menu online we were expecting the food to be tasty and different. However the food really let us down. Everything tasted very sweet and made us feel sick afterwards. For starters we had the aubergine bao bun, which was basically an aubergine in deep fried batter smothered in a very sweet peanut sauce. For mains we got the aubergine curry, pineapple riceberry rice, crispy sea bass and Thai Singapore noodles. I am not exaggerating, but all the mains were very sweet and the noodles were very salty. Well did not enjoy the food at all. The offer for cocktails is not really an offer, it's two for £14 or £7.95 each. I would not recommend coming here as you can get much better authentic Thai elsewhere. Stick to places that are not chains.

Visited this restaurant Sunday 3rd at 8pm. Only 2 other tables in there at the time, Ordered food and drinks, Food arrived after 35 mins but still no drinks, Asked the waitress who said she would chase up. 10 mins later still no drinks she said because i ordered a cocktail there is only 1 person to make them, she could only do beers and soft drinks. I said when we ordered out food and drink there was virtually no one in here , now its busier and everyone had their drinks other then myself and my partner. Waited another 10 mins (so 50 mins later) still no drinks and food was nearly finished. Spoke to the lady pouring drinks behind the bar on this occasion. Extremely disappointed in the service especially when receiving an eye roll from the staff because i told them service wasnt good enough. Not even a free drink in the end. Very disappointed, maybe you need to appoint new kind and caring staff as food was amazing, they have let this place down.

Not pleased with the quality of the food, both prawn crackers and my girlfriends rice had someone's black hair in it, we are both fair haired, and my chicken was pink inside.Would have made a complaint inside but the staff who I told didn't seem interested.Would recommend investing in hair nets for those in the kitchen.

We went to Portsmouth for shopping today. We are fan of Thai food, we haven’t had it for sometime. Today we were very hungry after lots of time spent in shopping, didn’t even had lunch. We decided to go for early dinner and found good reviews for this place. We reserved seats though when we reached we found enough empty spaces were there. Staffs were friendly and didn’t take much time for serving us. Seeing Google reviews, we had high hope for food. chicken red thai curry was good, but chicken satay and pad thai were only okay. Chicken satay sauce having large size peanuts and little sweeter. Pad Thai was bland, more sweeter side. Road side free parking after 6 pm helpful to park nearby the restaurant.
