We like to come here on a daily basis, its a nice area for dog walkers, what i dislike is the glass, my dog has cut her paws repeatedly, i have complained about this to the council but they did not remove the glass, please be aware of this when walking your pet.

So it seems a bit of an odd one to review regarding it's a field rather than what I'd consider a park. The walkway, bins and grass are maintained and the area is pretty clean. There's no flowerbeds, ponds, gardens nor stonework. There is no playground either. This is why it confuses me as to why it's called a park. Anyway... Good place to take the dog for a walk. Just on the edge of Cowgate so you do see the odd kid on a motorbike, but honestly that's not an issue to myself. Poor kids have to ride them somewhere.All in all its a nice big field...

Good park with great views in all directions. Great for walking the dogs or to have a little stroll.

The dene itself has some great potential for walking your dogs but theres always so much smashed glass lying around and burnt out bins which spoil the place. There are no street lights to make you feel protected during the dark nights either.
