These guys - especially Toby and Matt - are absolutely incredible.After being let down by another cycle repair place, I urgently needed new brake pads installing, and they made time the very next morning when I called them at around 3pm, even at an especially busy time for cycle shops.They were friendly and helpful, and sorted everything out for less than the place that let me down were going to charge.As I wasn't going to be able to get there before they closed, they even locked my bike safely just outside the shop so I could get it when I got back to York.As long as I have a bike, I will be going here for all of my needs.

Brilliant service, friendly and communicative, reasonable pricing. Fixed and cleaned my dilapidated old bicycle at very short notice and very quickly. Now working (and braking) beautifully, as close to new as it’s been in about 20 years.

I brought my bike in after struggling to fit a new inner tube on the road myself. Matt showed me how to get the tube on and how to check for any problems with the tyre. I got it sorted in less than 10 minutes and I was very grateful for his help. Thank you Matt

Super service. Was looking for a rear mudguard that would reach close to the ground to keep others from getting splashed on group rides. The guys fitted one from stock and extended it further with rubber flap for free.

Brought in a Rad Rhino electric bike for a check over / service at the Train Station branch. Matt looked after me. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great price too. Sorted my bike in no time at all. Highly recommend this place.

Toby and Matt are so lovely! I’ve taken my bike there twice already and they’ve resolved the issue so quickly and efficiently. This time I needed a new wheel, and they managed to repair it a a day so that I didn’t have to wait until the next week.Definitely recommend this repair shop, one of the best in York.

Wow. If this is Cycle Heaven (and it is) then Matt and Toby are the archangels. They replaced my derailleur (totally screwed up courtesy of Cross Country Rail service) ON THE SPOT, and end of day Friday, no less. Great, knowledgeable mechanics, friendly, prompt service. This stuff only happens in heaven… Cycle Heaven. Thank you, guys, for rescuing this long distance cycle tourist in his hour of great need.

Many thanks to lovely young guy who sorted out my bike chain on the spot! He also realigned the back tyre to avoid the chain slipping again. His kindness avoided a long walk home and restored my faith in humankind. Great service!

Cannot thank the 2 gentlemen who sorted me out today. Brilliant service, excellent work. Phoned me to point out an issue on my bike (that I wasn't aware of and has been back to the shop I bought it from 3 times ffs) and asked if they should sort it. And it's not like I would have even known had they just done it and added it to the price.Brilliant work. So glad I can support my LBS and will do from now on.
