Awful experience, joined in October after a number of days was truly appalled by the lack of cleanliness, poor equipment and poor service recieved.I requested to cancel after a week and for the second month charge not to be applied and was met with a rude response from the team onsite, I have raised these concerns to the Executive team at Bannatyne and was completely dismissed, and informed they are doing a great job in fact Karl Kerin the regional manager visited last week and they are doing a great job". Please save your money and time and stay away from this mob crowd. Extremely old equipment and lack of quality classes. Really wish I could turn the time back on this one."

The place was clean, both jacuzzi and pool was cold, the only good thing was the steam rooms, the gym look okay, I didn't not use it. The changing room was clean, lockers are good size. But honestly I expected better.

I went here for the first time today (Sunday afternoon). It was a fitness gym with the best service and quality facilities I have experienced in the UK (although I only used the pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and changing room). The staff are top notch and I really appreciate the work they do to keep it clean. I can sincerely understand why this gym is located in Westminster. Thank you very much.

Times up!? - The guy opens the door to sauna, shouts the time is up and walks away? In old days this place was closing in time when it said was closing - today staff close 20min ahead of closing so you guys can go home when the gym sais its time - BAD HABBIT!You should allow people to finish exercising (until the very end), then stop people comming in, take your time to clean the gym and go home when done. You should take an hour after its closing time to make sure all is good to close. Who said I need to go 20minutes before you think I should go? Make sure its not happening again, otherwise the contract is void.

Small but incredibly convenient, great staff, serviceable equipment, really nice facilities. I have used Bannatyne Healthclubs up and down the UK and they are always of a high standard.

I have been frequenting Bannatyne's Millbank for over 15 years initially as a full time member and most recently as someone who visits London to see family. It used to be a fantastic club with enthusiastic, helpful staff but since opening (post-covid financial pains I suspect) it's an unrecognisably strange, eerie and surreal place.Staff are incredibly unhelpful and don't seem to care about the gym or the members; they're just perpetually checked out; on their phones, talking to each other, or aimlessly wandering around. No one is ever at the front desk to see people in, they'll just be laughing and chatting amongst each other in the office. Signing up for a day-pass is a 15 minute process which is incredibly agonizing when you're inputting the exact same profile everyday. If you join for just a month you have to sign up and then send an email for cancellation, which is tedious when surely someone could just process that in front of you?Cleaning staff randomly work out beside you during your exercises. I've never experienced that in a gym before, in retrospect it is quite amusing but in the moment it is very bizarre and frustrating when they -- without politely asking -- just take the equipment you're using and exercise themselves. Don't they have the entire day to workout? There was one member who would not only stare at me during my workout everyday but join in.The staff also claim the gym closes at 9pm but start TURNING OFF EQUIPMENT YOU'RE USING at 8:40pm and then give you barbed attitude saying we're closed if you politely ask for more time. One star is for the club actually maintaining fantastic, up to speed equipment and weights, which is the minimum you can ask of a gym. It also has an extremely dark, dimly lit pool which looks more like a sensory deprivation tank for a whale than a well-lit swimming arena, but it is an ostensibly clean and well-run pool nonetheless. Now, the worst part of all. The pricing is exorbitant for how small the gym is which also makes no sense. When measured against its immediate competitors, this tiny gym is now £89.99 a month when PureGym and The Gym Group are 20-26 pounds a month for university-sized gyms with multiple locations around central London and better hours. What the heck is the cost breakdown to justify £89.99 a month for a gym this tiny with barely any staff? I'd love to hear a response to this review with the answer. The amalgamation of these factors leads me to say: there are so many better options out there. Save yourself the suspiciously high pricing and join a different gym.

Poor hygiene, have recently cancelled my membership. Showers have not been cleaned once in the whole year I went to Milbank Bannatyne and there is mould everywhere. The place is falling apart and needs some serious capex, with some genuine structural issues. 1-2 of the staff are kind and genuinely try to be helpful but aren’t that intelligent, and the remainder are pretty useless. I would avoid opening up about your personal, especially to the blonde steroid taking personal trainer (the irony) as it’s an envious environment with bad energy and these guys pretty much live the same day on loop into perpetuity. His PT sessions are a gimmick and will have you rolling your shoulders for half an hour, I’ve seen people doing this for many months on end with little to no change. The other PTs seem somewhat competent, compared to this anyways. Gym is poorly equipped with 0 light and the spa makes me wretch. London is often about compromises and we can often look past minor issues. Not in this case, save your hygiene and energy and go to a better gym, Shocking this place is still open, some serious health, safety and personnel concerns @westminister council.

Instead go to Maida Vale Bannatynes where you'll feel much more welcome, unless your happy for the bored cleaner to stalk you around the poolside like some deeply disturbed and depraved predator, then steals your towel, and for management to refuse an investigation into the CCTV.Avoid Millbank SW1 if you don't want to feel exploited and uncomfortable. The staff cleaner was overheard actually bad mouthing club members in the female changing room, and many of the members themselves are really stuck up, hostile, image obsessed and clicky, much of this issue boils down to favouritism, these 'yuppy' types scorn at you round the poolside and as you come out the showers, the female members seem to have NO respect for unfamiliar or new members or anyone's privacy, dignity, and rights to access the spa they pay to use.

The location is perfect but the pool area and gym require professional cleaning EVERY DAY. When one complains privately nobody takes any notice and it is always a member’s fault. Customer services are just not existent there. Can somebody please ask their management to CLEAN the gym and spa professionally daily as our requests are continuously ignored. What’s the point of having 3 cleaners who think it is below them to ‘scrub’ the spa? Also, our personal items have been disappearing over years now and it is never their responsibility.

I visited this place using a day pass which was £20 as I was with a full paying member. I was expecting a state of the art gym considering the monthly membership is over £70 a month. However I was surprised to see a very old and dated gym in the basement. I could not believe how bad it was considering the price. I guess they are charging for the location.
