Baggage Freedom - West Highland Way baggage transfer service

We felt soo lucky to meet Greg! Me, my husband and doggie were walking the West Highland Way this week and it was very very rainy. On the Saturday the rain overnight was soo heavy that in the we were stranded at Inverarnan, but in the afternoon when the flood waters eased Greg from Baggage Freedom came down with his van and offered us a lift to Tyndrum. He was our true knight in shining armour and was so super friendly and lovely! I had been struggling quite a lot carrying my pack up to that point, so he said if I wanted I could start using his Baggage Freedom baggage transfer service from Tyndrum and I’m soo glad I did!!!! Each day after that I left my bag and as if by magic it was waiting for me at our next stop on the trail! I’m so glad I used Baggage Freedom as I honestly don’t think I would’ve been able to complete the walk without Greg’s help! It made the walk so soo much more enjoyable not having to carry my heavy pack. Baggage Freedom offers an absolutely tip top fantastic amazing service! Great service, bags always ready and waiting at our chosen locations. Easiest way to locate the bags is ask reception when checking in whether it be at a hotel, campsite, hostel etc. Driver for our return journey was great and was happy to stop on route for us to use the toilets at Tyndrum. Seen lots of people struggling to complete the west highland way with large bags and turning up to camp very late whereas the people who used baggage freedom were enjoying the walk much more and enjoying more time at the end of each day to relax.

Did West Highland Way with Baggage Freedom which was the best decision ever. They deliver our luggage along our hike, to our different sleeping places which made it so much easier and we could take our dog on the transfer from Fortwilliam to Glasgow. They are the best and very experienced! Go for it!

This company is excellent and I highly recommend! I had to make a few changes to bookings and it was so easy to do and easy to get in contact with them even during the walk. We took advantage of a return trip to Milngavie which is great value and our driver was so friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. If you’re looking for a baggage transfer on your whw trip, book these guys!

We were nearly flooded in at Beinglas Farm Campsite and Baggage Freedom saved the day! There was more than 3 inches of rain that day and no other baggage service or taxi would make the trek. That didn’t stop Baggage Freedom! Highly recommend if you have any troubles along the way. If they can help, they will.

Tremendous service! I have to be honest and say that I wasn't sure what to expect when I first arranged this for the West Highland Way, as I had never used a baggage transfer service before. However, I was absolutely delighted with the reliability - everything went to plan every day like clockwork and I was taken back to Milngavie after reaching the end point in Fort William. I cannot recommend it highly enough. An absolute must for anyone planning to walk the WHW.
