Awful service overall.I brought my car in for a MOT and service and asked for more bits to be looked at mainly a banging noise coming from the wheel. After a full day I was told not to worry about the bang, it's nothing. The bang is still there.I also asked for the wind screen wipers to be changed. They weren't! I asked for a courtesy vehicle that is not a van and scheduled the service around that because my wife was planning to drop it off but we were still given a van. Luckily I was able to drop the car my self so the van wasn't a problem. The courtesy van also had no fuel so I had to fuel it myself to get back home.Even though I have one previous service completed with them they said this doesn't show on record.I just guess the mechanic on the day was bored.1/10 rating. Use at your own risk.

I developed a headlight malfunction on my 2015 Focus ST3, and took it into Ford, Newbury as I have done for services and MOT over many years now. The issue being with the adaptive unit for the bixenon headlight. I dropped it off and after a few hours was informed there was no possible fix and a new unit was required at a cost of over £1200. I was surprised and disappointed. A quick search through the Focus Fanatics forums highlighted that this was a common issue - essentially the wiring loom to the unit is too short and over time the crimping tends to fail causing this issue (attached pic - my faulty wire that had caused the issue).I went to pick the car up - I specifically asked if this was a wiring problem and was explicitly informed there was absolutely no repair that could be done and the only option was a replacement. This was simply untrue. I was told it was expensive due to issues with high voltage (again - absolutely not an issue as the headlight is removed from the car and hence battery by a simple connector when the car is turned off, I did the repair on the kitchen table) and the time involved (Fixed with a simple kit for £9.99 from Adaptive Fix in the space of 20 minutes).With what little credit I could give them they did eventually agree not to charge me the £100 diagnostic fee, albeit only after I made a fuss that they had in fact misdiagnosed the issue. I was initially angry and felt they had been dishonest after many years of customer loyalty, however in retrospect I believe they just were ignorant of a common fault on a common Ford and indifferent to the solution. They will say that it is not a Ford-endorsed repair, which is in essence hiding behind a corporate line in order to boost Ford profits. The reality is I have spent £9.99 and now have a perfectly functioning front headlight instead of the £1200+ I was incorrectly quoted.Dr Henry CravenIntensive Care & Anaesthetics Senior SpR

Overall my new car buying experience was first rate. I got a great discount straight off the bat but nonetheless the salesman, Alex Strauss, wasn't pushy. Regular updates followed until the car arrived and the handover was done at a nice leisurely pace. Definitely check them out if you're in the market for a new Ford.

He was able to answer any questions I had, sort any problems and was pleasant and polite throughout. Didnt fix or look into a fault found on road test of a sales car nd when we picked it up we noticed they didnt sort. Turned out the battery just needed charging from being sat on the forecourt. Easy fix but ovs wasnt interested but just want your money. Messed up our deposit aswell. Service received was rubbish.

I would stay far as possible from Ford Newbury I have had nothing but nightmares since using these guys since last year November, they replace my engine in my van and less than a hour after leaving there it broke down on the side of the road.I gave them another chance and took it back there for more mechanical work August 16th I paid over £600 and shortly after leaving I had the same noise and to make matters worst my van was broken into as they fail to secure my van and to add insult to injury they said they will not accept any liability. Shame on you Ford .
