Pets at Home Andover

Dated 31/10/22This is an update.I recently purchased a rescue guinea pig, from all accounts the staff all wanted her.So for all the staff here is a picture of Willow. Pity she didn't bond with my existing guinea pig.

Good parking,Selection of products, groom room rather busy, however a fantastic service.Vets available but cannot comment as I haven't used them

Thanks again to the lovely staff at pets at home for being so helpful with my Beau. Having staff members come and greet him and love on him is always welcomed as it helps with his socialisation

Generally have a good range of products on offer and an easy click and collect service with friendly staff, but often can be quite busy

Very friendly and helpful and always happy to answer questions. Recently got a puppy and they are very helpful with new owners

We had an appointment to see the vet as our cat was unwell with a chest infection.We were seen quickly after booking an appointment .The vet was lovely, and well aware of our cats previous medical history. He was very caring and gave our cat a thorough examination.We were given lots of good advice , and our cat was treated.We felt very confident in the vet and happy to be registered to this practice

Set up my companion care for my new addison to the family and to get treats.to get a new dog tag.thankyou for the help .the ladys on the desk are so helpful.

Simply Amazing staff, The vets and practice manager were so gentle & empathetic with us, Sadly we had to put our puppy to sleep very suddenly when he became gravely ill with IMHA & the whole team were so lovely. They met us outside as an emergency & Amy our vet talked us through every procedure she was doing to try to save Chewy. They even co ordinated with my pet insurance as I was too upset to speak to them. When the time finally came it was very peaceful & after they left us alone to grieve our loss. I simply cannot thank the team especially vet Amy & the practice manager Anja (sorry if spelling is wrong) they made our terrible loss as easy to deal with as possible and I can't thank them enough for that. Thank you for taking care of Chewy & us & for doing everything you possibly could to try to save him. Never forgotten r.i.p pupperx

I mainly visit as this is where our vets are. Pets At Home is a good store, usually get what you need. Prices are often higher than some online stores. Their click & collect is useful and their VIP scheme is great. I just wish they would stop selling animals; they don't vet buyers experience or check they have suitable homes for animals to go. They are directly responsible for the over subscription of rescues. I would rate them higher if they did the right thing across all stores. Adopt or buy responsibly....not from a store.
