When we spotted a suspicious patch of deteriorating wooden panelling in our hallway, we asked Dryfix to come and have a look and advise on the best way to restore the wood. Russell performed a very thorough survey, even squeezing under the floor to check the state of the timbers. We are so glad that he did, as the floor in our living room and hall was dangerously unstable due to a significant woodworm infestation.There was no doubt in our minds that Dryfix should do the work for us. The team were incredible throughout the job, they went to great lengths to explain everything so that we understood the process and could make informed choices. As a family of five and with the work happening in winter, they ensured we were kept safe and warm during the works, someone even came out unexpectedly just before Christmas to jet wash our drive so that it was clean and tidy for the festivities.Many of the Dryfix team were involved as the work progressed and various trades were required, all oozed pride in their work and clearly wanted to do an excellent job. The end result is excellent, with well thought out touches here and there to really finish things off properly. A special mention to Matt who laid the new oak floor with such incredible care and precision. We have had issues with mould in the house for years and the Dryfix survey clearly identified a serious problem with ventilation of the subfloor which had left us with damage in the floor timbers. This needed substantial work to fix: improve the subfloor ventilation and replace all ground floor timbers and flooring. Dryfix did the work very thoroughly and kept us involved in the process the whole way, including being flexible enough to include additional work we wanted done while the floors were up. Fraser managed the job cheerfully and thoughtfully the whole time. We are very pleased with the finished work and very happy to recommend Dryfix for their high quality, professional work.

I would highly recommend this company from survey to doing the work for us could not have had better service.The Office staff were always on hand for questions, the survey was very thorough and detailed. All the team were polite on time and very knowledgeable and couldn’t have done more.

We live in an old solid stone wall house and have had problems with rising damp and water permeable walls. We had previously had a chartered surveyor survey. They recommended a 'blanket' remediation without really understanding the underlying issues. We then paid Dryfix to do a further survey. Russell was so much more detailed in his assessment and recommendations. It turned out that the walls were actually pretty dry but the signs of damp were from cold air underfloor condensation, concrete mortar and non resistant plaster. A far more targeted solution was recommended which we have had completed. The Dryfix team were just great. Very competent, polite, communicative, identified some other issues which were resolved and cleaned up well. So as you will have guessed we were very pleased with this firm. Too many cowboys out there....

5 star service from Russell, Frazer and the Dry-fix team. We had a floor and plaster walls replaced due to historical damp problems in a terraced property. Dryfix were professional from start to finish with excellent communications throughout. They were considerate to the neighbours and left the property clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Dryfix and certainly use their services again.

I've been really pleased with Dryfix and the service they've provided so far. Russell seems like a great bloke and explained everything thoroughly to me, paying attention to detail while investigation our damp problems. Would highly recommend to anyone experiencing any issues with damp!
