Square Roots Cafe
My husband and I had soup, and filled roll deal. The servers seemed in a hurry, to take orders, even though there were empty tables.Cullen skink was quite watery, but tasted OK. French onion soup, tasted OK. Decent bowlful, but very oily. There was a layer of oil on the surface. The filled rolls, were tasty. Good amount of filling to roll ratio. Salad, and filling nice and fresh.Good choice on the menu, quite expensive though. Soup and roll about £7-£8. Tea £1.50-£2.50.Another couple came in after us, left without ordering anything, as it was too expensive.It closes quite early, which is a shame.It's on the flat, so accessible for physically impaired. There is a decent disabled toilet on site.Didn't have cake or pudding, as had already spent enough. Did see some cakes on show, which looked good, but can't comment on taste.

Amazing Food and amazing Staff, even made something not on the menu as I wanted a Tuna Melt. Great festive and yearly drinks hot and cold.

Nice little cafe, food was delicious and I enjoyed the experience. The prices were reasonable and the food was prepared from scratch which is always nice. The decor is beautiful and modern with a rustic feel.The waitresses were very friendly and it was nice and cozy. There was a slight draft of cold from the door but nothing too bad. The tables felt small and a bit cramped to me but that is probably due to the size of the cafe as a whole.

Great coffee, dessert treats and a solid lunch menu. Nice place to stop for lunch while touring distilleries. Very good service as well.

Nice fresh food , service was slow but it was very busy. Staff nice and friendly. It was really noisy but I guess that's because the cafe was full.

Friendly cafe right on the Square which serves fantastic coffee and cullen skink with a chicken mayo sandwich deal both were amazing especially the skink which was smoky and creamy , an excellent lunch , the waitress was chatty and the cost was very reasonable , will be calling in again when heading north

This was such a cute little place, friendly staff and really good food! The pesto chicken sandwich was really good, great chips. The sticky toffee pudding was epic!! They played American Country music as well and made me feel much at home.

The staff here were friendly, polite and helpful. I ordered a full breakfast on the recommendation of the waitress, it proved to be a wise choice, it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Cooked to perfection, including my requested crispy bacon, and served on a large rectangular plate. I came very close to licking the plate clean, it was so tasty.Situated 30 yds from an EV charge point, I was able to top-up my car while I topped-up myself.I'll definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Square Roots Cafe
This is a nice little cafe, surprisingly very popular. Food is good and service is excellent. It has a wide menu, great coffee and freshly baked cakes, scones etc.
