Fantastic to see this theatre is still going strong. Saw Nathan Carter here at the weekend and the atmosphere was brilliant. There are parts of the building that of course could be updated and renovated (toilets mainly!) but that does go with the age of it.

Beautiful theatre. Only drawback was the long queue for the ladies loo during the interval. You need to be fit for the stairs too! Otherwise, lovely helpful, friendly staff. Have been to a few shows there and looking forward to seeing more in the not too distant future.

Visited in March 2023 to see School Of Rock. Excellent venue with really good service. Sat in the highest seats available in the Upper Circle and the view was still great. Be mindful when booking that some seats are listed as restricted view.

A truly beautiful theatre with lots and lots of character. Go here, watch a show and donate to the upkeep of the building. The staff and volunteers are extremely nice and there's a wide range of drinks and snacks.

Wonderful Grade 1 listed building. Absolutely stunning inside with original features on the exterior of the boxes. Very ornate artwork and plaster work.Went to see the comedian Tom Allen. It was a full house on the Friday evening. The sound system was really powerful and the delivery by Tom Allen was at times quite shouty and if felt that he was haranguing or hectoring his audience. His observation comedy and thoughts are not to everyone's tastes but the way he interacted with a number of members of the audience was very good and very funny.

Getting past it's best in decor and cleanliness.Toilets disgusting and no rake in stalls seats making it difficult to see when at the back.Redeeming feature is that the staff are lovely!

Beautiful venue. Staff helpful. I can't advise on parking as we parked quite a walk away in very expensive carpark. That was a mistake! We saw Scouting for Girls and guests as a fundraiser for Newcastle foodbank. All the musical guests were great. I hope they raised lots of money.

Went to see Tom Davis on Saturday night. He was amazing. We had an issue due to my husband being over 6ft and the seating not having enough leg room. The staff where amazing and moved us to the balcony so we didn’t miss the second half.
