Recent bad experience. Dog was very ill but could only get a late appointment had some treatment and tests. Took dog home was told to make appointment for next day but once again could only get a late appointment. Dog had been sick all night and couldn't stand so hadn't drank or eaten. Called vet to say we needed to come in earlier because the dogs condition had worsened, we had to wait for a decision as to whether they would see him early finally got the ok. Had the carry him to the car and struggled to get him into the vets we were put in a room and had a further wait. Eventually got seen and given test results which in a number of cases were at the testing machines top limits. At this point vet said they would put him on a drip, we asked about night time care but was told that was out of hours but we were not offered it. We were told we would need to collect him at 18.30 then bring him back in the next morning at 9am. We left him at this vet and phoned around to find a vet with night care. Transferred him to this other vets and was told he would have died if I had taken him home that night and in the 2 days with the other vet had seen him he had developed a secondary infection. He has had to have day and night intensive care to bring him back from the brink of death and is now on lifetime medication. This vets really needs a organise an overnight contact where they can send very sick animals they should not be sending them home to die.

I changed my furry baby's vet because Brunswick Place Veterinary Clinic was recommended to me.The best vet clinic in Basingstoke. And yes!!!! It is true, they are very professional and know how to take good care of your pet, the attention that this clinic gives is spectacular, they are very kind and lovely with the animals. Now I know that my dog Happy is in the best hands of the best professionals. A clinic of the highest standard. I recommend it 100%.

Service is always great, very attentive to our pets, reasonably priced and tablets are always available quickly after ordering. Glad I listened to my friends suggestion to transfer across. Highly recommend.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Easy to get into the building, wheelchair ramp outside. Excellent interaction with your pet.

Brunswick Place Veterinary cancelled my dog’s home euthanasia appointment 5 minutes before it was supposed to happen.Our dog was really anxious every time we visited the vet, so we wanted to do it at home, at his home. We booked at noon the following day with the vet for a home euthanasia appointment, and they were supposed to phone us that day early in the morning.Nobody phoned us that morning, so we called them around 10:30 am, and the receptionist told us all vets were too busy to talk to us, but someone would phone us soon.At 11:55 am - just five minutes before the home euthanasia appointment was supposed to happen - they phoned us and cancelled it. They said they were too busy for a home appointment and could not come. We were very shocked and in distress. They did not even have the decency to make a follow-up call.Thank you for making the worst day in our lives even more difficult.

Brunswick Place have done so much for our puppy, at a time when we had little options in Basingstoke.Though they were the only practice to accept our registration they have been exceptional in the care of our dog. From illness, jabs and minor surgery they have been courteous, professional, skilled and most of all patient.Our dog is not fond of visiting the vet and is not shy to show it, but they’ve handled her well and I’m so grateful for all the work they’ve done from receptionist, to nurses and vets themselves.I would recommend them to anyone.

I've used them several times for my cat and my guinea pigs. The receptionists are always friendly and manage to fit me in on the same day, and at a time that suits me. They are great vets and also reasonably priced. I've never had a bad experience here
