Not great customer service by duty manager Dave. Was rude and said come tomorrow to give the item back as it was faulty.I then asked for manager and he said I’ll do it for you.Ethics here very bad Honestly never coming back to Sheffield North branch of Wickes.

Thank you Paddy! What an asset to the store. He went above and beyond making what I believed would be a difficult task super easy. Nothing was too much, even down to calling my joiner to make sure what I was purchasing was right. Every Wickes store needs a Paddy.

Booked an appointment for a bathroom design (by filling in an online query and then speaking to someone on the phone). Turned up for it to be told the person doesn't work there any more and we would have to wait a couple of weeks if we wanted an appointment at this store. We will go with the quote we got from elsewhere.

Went to ask a younger woman a question, and I just said 'oh excuse me' and her response was 'WHAT' and she looked disgruntled the entire time she interacted with me. Didn't smile once. Then went to chat to younger male co workers and was all smiles! Maybe basic education on simple manners and how to treat customers is needed for some of your staff.

I recently visited the Rutland Road store to purchase some sand and cement. I realised that I wasn’t going to manage without help. I approached one of the team (named Josh). He was extremely helpful and took me down the store to show me where the items were. Without having to be asked he offered to lift the items onto the trolley which he took to the cash desk for me. I was delighted when he said he would also put them in the boot of my car. I was extremely grateful for all of his help and wish him to be recognised for this hence my review. All in all a good experience.
