Regal Ballet

I do not usually share reviews, but I had to for Regal Ballet. My daughter has been going for over a year now and it is favourite class by a mile! Her teacher Miss Lauren is incredible, so patient, kind and inspiring. I could not rate Regal Ballet and Miss Lauren more.

My daughter had been going to Regal for about 3 years, the only one in her class that had been there that long, all through COVID, still attending, even when others were not. This summer, we turned up to the last class to find out that she would no longer be able to attend as they had decided to change the days. I spoke with the owner and she assured me that the class time she was currently in would be updated to reflect her age group, it never was. There is no loyalty from this ballet club, the owner rarely replies to emails, 9 times out of 10 having to be chased and there was no communication about the changes (getting notified on the last day & just having to say goodbye, on the spot) that would affect a routine my daughter had had in place for a number of years. I have given 1 star that should purely be given the to the lovely teacher, Miss Lauren. My daughter loved her and she really gives her heart and soul to the little ones. My little girl will really miss her.

My 4 year old daughter has been attending Regal Ballet for over a year now. She absolutely loves her Ballet Classes and looks forward to attend each session. My daughter was taught by Miss Stefanie for a year - who is a true gem with the children! Her patience and kindness goes a long way with both the children AND parents!At the end of the Summer Term, you have the option to consent for your child to take part in a stage performance. I was very impressed with the effort that went into the organisation of last years show! My daughter had the best time and to my surprise was very confident in performing in front of such a large audience, despite all the theatrical lights, music, etc...!Thank you Therese and the rest of the Regal Ballet Team for all the hard work that you put into everything that you do! We look forward to another fulfilling year!!!! :)

Viola is a wonderful ballet teacher. She engages well with her students and keeps the class light and fun. My daughter’s first experience of ballet has been great and that is thanks to Viola.

My daughter has been taking the Regal Ballet class for age group 2.5-3.5 for a year now and has been loving it. The teachers are excellent and the format of the class is well thought-through - interactive and fun whilst teaching some ballet basics and giving some discipline. There is not many things cuter than seeing little girls that age trying hard to follow the teacher and this has been a lovely bonding experience for me and my daughter. Many thanks!

My daughter adores going to ballet with Regal. She has the best time and has learnt so much in the year she has been going. It’s incredibly well organised, expert tuition, and in a beautiful setting. The annual performance was a triumph. I’m also impressed with the very strict child protection policies which includes no photos allowed of the classes and a thorough collection process.

My daughter has been doing ballet with Regal Ballet since she was 3, so 3 years now. I was very pleased to know that she could continue the same at her school as an after school Club when she started full time school. My daughter loves ballet and all of Regal Ballet’s teacher have tonnes of experience and lots of poise.I would not let a few administration issues affect the real experience of learning ballet with Regal. External factors are not always uncontrollable and it is a tough job to coordinate so many lovely locations/options and teachers. I think Therese does a fantastic job and offers excellent communication on your daughter’s progress.

Therese is an inspiring ballet teacher. The children love her lessons, and respond to her beautifully. It always amazes me the control she has over the class and how all the children put in such effort to learn the movements. My daughter has been attending lessons with Regal Ballet for nearly two years and will always ask me 'Did I do well today at Ballet'. :)I would highly recommend all budding ballerina's try Regal Ballet

My 2.5-year old daughter was attending classes with Miss Lisa over the last year and now Miss Viola as she is older and moved into a higher level.This ballet school is top-notch - it is taught by professional dancers and the children learn ballet in a fun yet rigorous environment. Clearly the teachers take it seriously, even at the toddler level, which is great because so many other activities don’t have that level of expertise for toddler classes.The management by Miss Therese is also great! I was given a heads-up on the level change so could easily plan it into her schedule for the fall.I also ordered uniform supplies online and was impressed at how quickly they arrived. Would also say they make it easy to understand what to order for a given child’s level so it’s all in one place/easy to do for busy parents.Overall would recommend to anyone looking to expose their child to ballet.

Both my daughters (age 7 and 5) have loved Regal Ballet. Miss Therese brings a fun, imaginative approach to ballet for the younger ones while also teaching them real skills. My older daughter has continued into the Grade 1 with Miss Emma and really enjoys her as a teacher as well. I'd highly recommend Regal Ballet for anyone looking for a ballet class that has stuck a great balance: giving kids a love and enjoyment of dance as well as strong ballet skills.
