Lovely site caravan great sadly the pool was as small as a bath too shallow, we were not told you have to book pool times at point of booking so had to get to the pool 3/4 of an hour early to queue to see if you would be 1 of the lucky 16 extras they let in, plus only 2 showers so if you have children this is not ideal. So would not return as the children were too disappointed. It's such a shame.

Nice tidy park with plenty for the kids to do. Great location near the beach and local cafes and restaurants. We went early September when it was quiet and a few items weren't available on menus. The staff were all very nice.

Had a week at Pendine Sands 2/9/23 - 9/9/23. Arrived late but were greeted by s friendly security man with keys and instructions. The caravan was the smallest caravan we ever had. It was classed as a 4 berth but would be cramped with 4 occupants even 2 children. It was adequate for us as a base and was clean. The downside was the caravan was next to the end on a terrace with no turnround so you either reversed in or out a bit dodgy in the dark. We found the restaurant was acceptable with a decent pub ype menu. We must say the 2 girls who run it were excellent always pleasant even under pressure. The only complaint were the Fish & Chips We queued for over 1/2hr for overpriced soggy fish & chips. If we hadn't had a long tiring journey we would have taken them back. The 7mile beach is fantastic for children.

The park is clean and tidy so no complaints there. The children’s play areas are academic so I wouldn’t go looking for them. The swimming pool is a joke and it’s a queue up system….get in if you’re lucky. The first bookable slot was second week of September. There is a general lack of facilities. I wouldn’t recommend this park and compared to other Park Dean places I’ve been to in Cornwall area this is a poor effort. We won’t be coming again.

Unpleasant Experience at the Caravan Holiday HomeDuring our recent stay at the caravan holiday home, we unfortunately encountered some significant issues. Firstly, there was a persistent and strong urine smell that seemed to originate from the coach, making our stay quite uncomfortable. Adding to this unpleasantness, we found used female sanitary pads on the ground near the entrance, which was quite off-putting.On a more positive note, the beach nearby was beautiful and ideal for kids, offering a great opportunity for family fun. However, we were disappointed with the local cafes as they provided a very limited and poor-quality choice of food options.Overall, due to the strong urine smell and the sanitary pad situation, we regretfully advise others to avoid this caravan holiday home, despite the appeal of the nearby beach.

1st time in South Wales after years of travelling round the uk and it was beautiful, beach lovely and big, great caves and viewing point up the hill, lovely ice cream from the scoops/cafe on the beach, few shops decent prices, park clean and tidy, entertainment was good, prices for food and drink as expected, Bingo WOW £18 we only did that once, caravan was lovely, shame we got downgraded before we got there so had to pay for an upgrade the day before, that's not on!!! Reception is the 1st entrance, entertainment is the last one bit of a walk but doable even in torrential rain, thunder and lightning but it was fun.

The caravan we stayed in was on the inside great, clean tidy and welcoming, the beds were made a whole toilet roll in the bathroom we loved the caravan inside. Outside it needs to be cleaned and the site in general is very tired and run down, the facilities for the size of the site are very poor the club is small and not very welcoming there are two fish and chip shops and there food was awful, the price's in the shops and site in general are to expensive, there is a swimming pool that we didn't use but it looks small, the paths and roads need repairing as do the parking by the caravans, in my opinion close part's of the site over the next few years and bring up to scratch then move on to another part of the site, improve the club and food outlet's bigger pool and play facilities for the children maybe even a indoor playground as it seems to rain a lot, take advantage of the history of the area set up a go kart race track or something to make people want to spend time there, I could go on but I think you get the point I'm trying to make.

Stayed in a Gilmore caravan. Clean with basic essentials. The double bedroom was lovely and comfortable, but the twin singles were quite small and uncomfortable. Also, there is no space for a side table between the beds. The catch to hold the caravan door open was broken. It was quite a walk from the beach for my husband, who is disabled. We were situated right at the far end of the park. It is a lovely site. I was surprised at how quiet it was, especially as it was the 1st week of kids' summer break. We were able to park at the side of our caravan, which is always a bonus. Food, drink etc was quite expensive. We were surprised to find some local pubs/restaurants not open at this time of year. The beach is a gem. Clean and safe .Are we going to return. 'The hell we are ' lol
