Because they never give u ur money

My mother passed away 4 weeks ago and they are refusing to hand over any paper work to do with my mother's estate saying they have to keep hold of it until all bills are paid which I understand but I have been in contact with all companies and transferred all the accounts into my name the only out standing bill is with British gas which I am sorting. Evelyn mansion told my son that she would be in touch with me after the Easter holidays to sort everything out all she has done is nag me for a copy of her death certificate which she now has but still refuses to hand anything over I would never recommend this company

Disrespectful towards ppl with disabilities they derserve independence and I dont think its acceptable to treat anyone without fairness equality and respect and if they want their money it shouldn't be so hard for them

I self-referred to the Friendly Trust early 2018 due to my severe ADHD. I couldn't manage my money and was in danger of losing my house. Upon taking my case, the FT immediately took steps to safeguard my house, and compiled evidence which was successfully used in court when the mortgage provider sued. Their documentation was so detailed the judge not only found for me, he also made the bank refund the solicitor's fees I had been charged. I cannot adequately express my gratitude to this organisation; once they had my POA and took over the finances, my stress level dropped enormously-I hadn't realised what an effect it had on me. In 2022 I began to have my mail redirected to them, and again, my stress dropped. This has given me the energy to pursue promotion at work, which I never thought possible before. It has been truly life-changing; by instructing the FT to look after my finances, I ensured the safety of my family. I have a peace of mind I have never been able to achieve myself.
