Popped in yesterday as weather was lovely and haven’t in been for awhile woo what can I say the pub is so much better then before the new manger has really cleaned up the place and had the pleasure of meeting her myself she was so lovely and warming with her smileWill be going back.

Newish pub on Southgate high Street. Think it's been open on and off for a while but made difficult due to pandemic. Really good value and prices: got 2 Stella and 1 Guinness for £10.70, with lots of other offers available too. Nice alternative to the hole which is Whetherspoons next door and just as cheap. Better crowd too, more diverse and young.

Photos onine show food menu but when we arrived they said no food being served. Was around dinner time. Several patrons were noticeably wasted and one was sleeping in his chair. Later spilled his beer glass and it shattered on the floor. Football match nit going in their favour causing obsenoties (the c" word). We found it amusing and weren't bothered but this is fair warning to future non-regular patrons).I have photos but prefer not to humiliate the regulars on public domains."

What a place to watch footy when a big match is on! Classic geezers getting out of it, some on the old sniff sniff, others just on 10 pints or so. Loved the atmosphere, especially as Man City won! This place brings thd best out of the punters and not just out of their pockets but adds to their beer guts! The aroma's and kwirky noises were entertainment in themselves. But honestly all in all a fantastic gaff. Get down there me ol' muckers!

The new manager Sarah is a perfect fit fun friendly and enthusiastic and staff she has are doing amazing work absolutely amazing night was had by myself and family very happy cheerful atmosphere with live singer was very enjoyable would recommend to all
