I got engaged back in 1973 to my lovely husband Tom, but at the time, we could not afford an engagement ring, so we picked a ring that looked like an engagement ring, not a dress ring. I had that ring for the rest of our married life, when my lovely Tom sadly passed away in 2019. This year, I sadly lost my engagement ring, so I decided to get another similar looking ring. I had it made for me, and when I came to pick it up, I nearly cried with happiness as it was so like my old engagement ring. Even now, I am still looking for my old very sentimental ring as I know its in the house somewhere, and I will not give up. Henry D Johnstone, to me, is the best in the business. I thank you all for my lovely ring

Popped in here to look for a specific watch I could not see elsewhere. They were happy to help with the watch and went out of there way to get the strap changed but locating the only one available in the country as it had not been released yet. They made you feel very welcome and were so chatty, the watch we brought was fantastic and were very prompt at getting it sorted ready for a special birthday gift for my other half at fairly short notice. This is a great independent jewellery shop in a great location. Highly recommend this place. Thank you for helping.

Fantastic Jewelers. The wife and I got our wedding rings from here. They talked us through all the options and helped us with our selection. Helped us right the way through the whole process and we're very patient. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended.

Great service, knowledgable staff. I went in to get my mothers ring remodelled and I couldn’t be happier. When I presented the ring to her she was overjoyed as it has a lot of sentimental value. I have to say to Henry and the team, a big thank you. I don’t usually leave reviews but this definitely warranted it. My mother initially stopped wearing the ring due to wanting to prevent it from more wear and tear and the fear of losing a diamond due to it being loose in one of the settings, but now it has been given a new lease of life, she has started wearing it again and is really happy how it turned out. I was at first a little apprehensive as I didn’t know how it would turn out, but it turned out perfectly! Would recommend this Jewellers to anyone wanting to have this done.Once again,A sincere thank you on behalf of myself and my mother,John.
