Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Swindon

I m sorry to say this ,I didn't wanted but for new customers. We had very bad experience with Enterprise rent a car I booked a car through coustomer service and when I gone there to pickup they said I don't have booking , shouldn't come without reference number.i gone back and booked car for next day get reference number all confirmed on my email time, date location. When I reached with wife and toddler ,they again give me excuse for not avialbilty any kind of car cheaper or costlier. One only nice thing they dropped me and my family at station as courtesy.So the point is whether you book online or through a person there is no surety that you will get a car.Only wondering there is something which they don't want to disclose. Whether not serving low value customer or something else.Warn new customers don't trust on their system or you will spoil your days planning.JAZZ

29th September I booked a Luton van with a tail lift to use from 8am on Monday 9th October. I chose enterprise because I have used other branches and always had a brilliant service.Today, 8th October at 1:30pm I get a call telling me I have a choice of two things. Firstly, a smaller van without a tail lift which would be ready at 9am, or a different style smaller van without a tail lift which for some unknown reason was going to be in Newport at 8am and they didn’t know what time it would be arriving in Swindon.I told them that telling me this less than 24 hours before my booking is very, very poor service. I need what I ordered at the time I ordered it. That’s not an unreasonable ask. The guy in the phone said he would try and sort it for me and call me back. That was four hours ago, and no call. So now I’m left in limbo. Even a call to say “we can’t do it” and cancel the booking would be better than nothing. Absolutely pathetic. Why have something available on the website if it’s not going to be on offer? I even got a request to pre-register my details yesterday, surely they must have known by then?How can any business operate like this? I understand things happen but less than 24 hours….people book what they need. I didnt book the most expensive van for a laugh, I booked it as that’s the van I need.Truly pathetic service and I wish I had read some of the reviews on here before I relied on my experience from their branch in Milton Keynes who I have used several times and whos service has been perfect.Enterprise in Swindon are disorganised, rude, have no customer service and I will never, ever be using them again.I invite one of their managers to reach out to me on the email address I booked with if you want to try and make this right since you aren’t answering the phone.

Had a great experience with Enterprise Swindon. Was given a great vehicle for my courtesy car with no issues. Car was ready for me when I dropped my car at the garage and returning the vehicle was a quick and simple process and worker Tom even drove me to collect my car from the garage. Great service.

I was told to that I will get a refund by a Swindon Manager Lewis due to inconvenience I had when car was booked. Rang 4 times and was told to wait 10 days and so and so. Even made a formal complaint about it, pointless and useless customer service said I will be contacted by Area Manager. Nothing. Note that I have been chasing this since July 13. I dont think they really care about anything. Even for this bad review. I am giving up now. They dont care. I would go elsewhere.

Had a wonderful experience renting from Tom and the crew at Swindon west enterprise! They were professional and Tom paid particular attention to making sure my booking was exactly what I wanted and even dropped me off at the train station with time to spare. I can’t recommend this location enough!!

WORST company I have ever dealt with!!! This was the Cheney manor branch . Constantly fed with false promises and lies. Wouldn’t answer their phones or emails. Would not recommend to anybody. No customer care whatsoever. Be aware and keep away!!! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

First time renting with enterprise, we did a last minute change from a 7 seater to 9 seater, they were still able to accommodate us and gave a free upgrade to an automatic mpv. Such great customer service, we collected the car on time, we were shown different features on the car. The guys were brilliant and so helpful. Will definitely hire a car from here again.

Booked a Luton van to move house with for 9am on March 31st 2023. Got an email after they'd closed the day before explaining that the van wasn't available and that they wouldn't be able to get a Van to us (bearing in mind we were completing and expected out of our house). After ringing the next day, we were provided one by 2pm and was promised a partial refund due to the hassle.I've rung several times a week since March 31st to chase for the refund that I was promised and to this day haven't received it. I've given up now so you can keep it. Won't be using you again.

To all of Enterprise worldwide: Find and recoganize Jay from the Swindon West branch, UK. He is an asset to your organization!To all management and office staff at Swindon West branch: Give Jay a raise, give him a promotion and most of all take a leaf out of his book! This man is a legend and knows the meaning of true customer service. He was helpful when the rest of you lot refused to empathise with my delay in returning the van. Jay had no qualms about helping me, he was happy to help and what a five star attitude this man has. This guy has no idea how helpful he was, I was able to return the van to you thanks to Jay and return back to Newcastle the same night and russume my day job the next day.I wish I could reruit Jay and have him on my team!
