Glenhaultin Bed & Breakfast

Many Thanks to Fraser and Laura (with their incredible Parrot) for their warm welcome. Breakfast was perfect, and Bedroom very calm and comfortable. We recommend this B&B and would come back with pleasure.

A lovely experience on our trip to the Isles in September 2019. Comfortable rooms, friendly hosts, Laura and Fraser and Laura’s mom, a great breakfasts. We were set up for a lovely day exploring Skye before making a dash for the ferry the next day. The only fly in the ointment was the great difficulty finding the place. It is some distance off the road with no signs readable in the fading light as we drove out fromPortree.

The Glenhaultin bed-and-breakfast is somewhere I will stay again. On three weeks of holiday I had my best nights sleep here. The breakfasts were amazing. More than enough to power me through the day till dinner. The B&B is a great starting and ending point if you were doing the Quiraing and Fairy pools and wrapping up in Portree. Five stars does not do the Glenhaultin B&B justice. I thank our hosts for a wonderful stay.

Stayed at this B&B 21/10/2023 for 5 wonderful days Laura ,fraser & Kim were incredible hosts nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was out of this world the rooms are well furnished under floor heating with sky tv and mini fridge 5 stars is not enough if it was a restaurant they would be awarded a Michelin star location is awesome as you can look out to the lock

The best B&B we have ever stayed at. Simply a great experience. The owners are very accommodating and go out of their way to make you have a pleasant and relaxing visit. The entire house as well as the rooms are lovingly decorated with great detail. In addition, there are idyllic views of the nearby lake from both the breakfast room and the actual rooms. We stayed in Room 1; the bed was fantastically soft and inviting. Included in the room are a tea and coffee bar, free internet, a TV with both Netflix and Sky on Demand. The overall service reaches luxury hotel level without losing the charm of a B&B. Breakfast was generous and upscale. There was a buffet of juices, fresh fruit jars, and plenty of typical British breakfast snacks. There was also an included breakfast menu, from which you could choose different dishes (e.g. scrambled eggs, omlette, Full Scottish Breakfast etc.), which are then freshly prepared for you. In addition, the entire B&B is operated by appropriate carbon neutral Technology and is therefore more than climate friendly! An absolute must for every Isle of Skye tourist!

If you could give a place 6 stars! The house and rooms in it of itself was incredibly nice and cozy, and it had absolutely everything you need. The breakfast was both tasty and varying, and the location is great, featuring quite the view from the rooms as well as being close to Portree. But the kicker of it all is the sheer hospitality from the owner, who is always ready to ask you how you are or help you to a story of Scotland! Amazing expeience on an otherwise unlucky trip, would recommend this to everyone.

Such a cozy and comfortable place to stay in Isle of Skye. The hosts are very nice, the view is beautiful, breakfast is well prepared, and the rooms are spotless. Would certainly recommend to anyone. Thank Fraser and Laura!

We had a great time during our stay in August. 5 star hotel experience in Isle of Skye BnB from the start to the end with exceptional spectacular view. Fraser and Laura are very nice and kind during our stay. I will definitely recommend this BnB to our friends and come back next time
