Lovely meal tonight. I took advantage of the new Monday night ‘Pie and a drink’ for £10.95. Food came promptly and was piping hot and very tasty. Really enjoyed the Hobgoblin Gold ale! Well done Jade, Dan and the team.

Always feel welcome. Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We pop in at least 5 times a week as a result. Special mention to Jade and Ethan for being amazing !

Nice, easy check in at the bar. Extremely friendly welcome. Cosy warm room spotlessly clean and comfy bed. Great choice of drinks, reasonably priced and an excellent rare steak and chips cooked perfectly. Breakfast was plentiful, cooked well, to order. The two ladies (J &J) were perfect servers/hosts. Can't wait to return.

I'm really disappointed I'd taken my partner for a meal and feel overall gutted. My starters mac and cheese was stone cold nor even warm and both our mains were raw I was offered another meal and kindly declined and received two free drinks at the price of £14.95 . I'd rather a full refund as in the end we'd gone to eat else where so I paid twice

I phoned the white Hart today as we had just came back from a weekend away and it is my birthday today. Bearing in mind I had left phoning til an hour before, when I called the lady on the phone was so helpful. She went and reserved us a table under the name 'Happy Birthday' as I hadn't given her my name. The pub had a brilliant atmosphere and was very christmassy with twinkling lights and music playing. The food was very good and I would especially recommend the mixed grill which my husband and son had. There was a varied menu including a lighter bites, gluten free and snack range. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we got there, all of the staff were lovely but the lady behind the bar who reserved the table for us stood out (sorry I didn't get her name). This is the second time we have been in here and we will definitely be returning. Thanks for making a tired and hungry birthday girl after travelling so happy!

Stayed for 2 nights. The location is great. Value for money is good. Room was poor. The shower and bath was dangerous and water was far too hot from static taps.. Decor was outdated. The breakfast staff were rude and discussed other staff in earshot of customers. Dinner was cold and had to be reheated. All in all this place is a potential gold mine if it was run without apperthy.

It's a good place to go for a quit drink and a meal. There are now regular events throughout the week bingo cards a disco etc. There is a function room

Food order was wrong twice on one plateShould have been sausage mash peas gravy (kids)Came out with sausage beans chipsTook back to remove chips added mashTook back again to get gravy when there was beans still left on thereI took plate to bar which came back correct but clearly used same ingredients but on different plate and the gravy was still forgotten and had to come back withThis food was for my disabled mother and early hours in the morning she was throwing it all back up!I can only give one star because that’s the minimum please can you add the option of 0 stars because that would be the only correct optionBefore anyone says oh it’s a Karen I’m not! The menu clearly states sausage mash peas and gravy all you had to do was read it!
