Tried to buy a property through L&B.We put on asking price of £250, then an apparent bidding war up to £281k. The property probably needed another £40 spent on it, which I was prepared to do, as this would be our last move. After about a week and after viewing the property and stating I wanted to get this done within 24 hours, I received a call later that day stating that a closed bid had just arrived. Very strange. I couldn’t even bid higher as they wouldn’t disclose what the bid was.I think it’s very poor service and will not be dealing with them again. Thanks Stuart and Clare for the great service.I’ve since discovered the reason why my bid was not accepted!!! Disgusting.

Absolutly AWFUL. Rented a property off them for sometime. When it came to the return of the deposit they were incredibly unreasonable. Left the house in pristine condition and they still wanted to keep my deposit citing such reasons as 'black bin not fully empty'. Horrible people to deal with. Stay away. Theres much more friendlier and reasonable alternatives out there

Neil was 10 out of 5! He couldn’t do enough for us. After finding the perfect property for my family I contacted Neil who assisted me throughout the entire process.If I texted him a question or an update he would often respond in just a few minutes even outside working hours ! When you choose to work with L&B (and I HIGHLY recommend you do) I have no doubt they will provide exceptional service from start to finish .

I had a very good experience with L&B. Right form the beginning Charlie was super fast and had my property on the market in just a few days. The staff in the office couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was a problem. I would happily recommend L& B to anyone selling or buying a home.

The ladies in the office are great. The directors are rude, misleading and extremely unhelpful. Purchased a property through them as I had no choice - they were the people listing the house I wanted to buy. Repeated promises of returned calls - never happened. When I was outbid on the property they never came back to me to allow me increase my bid - they sent the paperwork to the solicitor to close the deal for the other people. Thankfully I forced through an increased offer. Will definitely not even consider selling my existing property through these folks - avoid at all costs unless you like being spoken down to and laughed at. When we highlighted a previously undisclosed fault with the property after purchasing it and asked for it to be resolved the response we got was go speak to your solicitor and see what he says" to quote what one of the directors said in a laughing and mocking manner. Disgusting service and attitude. 2 friends of the family have needed an agent to date and they've both been told to look elsewhere. I'll make sure that number increases throughout this coming year. AVOID!!!"

Nothing good to say about this company whatsoever. We have had three separate dealings with them and none of those experiences were positive. Secretarial staff are not interested and not helpful. They ask questions but don't appear to note anything. Their main role appeared to be in obstructing you from getting any information or answers. Partners are patronising and rude. They don't return calls and don't keep you updated. They are also evasive with the truth when any problems arise. In our most recent experience we made an in cash offer for the asking price. They didn't return to us for an increased offer. They didn't update us. We found out through other channels what was happening. Unprofessional and lacking in common courtesy. Avoid at all costs. We wouldn't use them if their services were for free.
