Lovely people and lovely atmosphere, very welcoming in every sense... only went there for a quiet couple of pints and ended up getting told off for getting home late... definitely going to pop in there again next time I'm in the area... thanks to everyone who I had the pleasure of meeting during my stay...xx

Found this gem of a pub on a weekend trip to Wales. What a great classic pub. Super friendly locals and will welcome you in with open arms. The quiz night is well worth attending aswell.How pubs should be!

Stopped in for a pint before and after a night camping at Rhosydd Slate Mine. This is a very traditional local pub. The landlady was very warm and friendly. A really lovely lady. And the Guinness is one of the best pints I've had in a long time. Highly recommended!

A really friendly local pub, ice cold beer and plenty of bar snacks to choose from. Very accommodating and cosy, the toilets were also clean and tidy. Owners are really helpful and polite, me and my fiance love it and can't wait to return 10/10 also definitely have a chat with the locals, they are all lovely.

If you are staying nearby I would HIGHLY recommend.Lovely pub, good drinks, great views, and super friendly locals who provide an amazing example of how kind the Welsh people are! We were sad to say goodbye to the landlady. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect place to hide from the rain. Staff and locals were so friendly and chatty and best pint of Guinness I've had outside Ireland! Also a cool view of the slate mountains from the smoking area. Diolch am noson wych!
