Unfortunately short staffed. Came in to get two dresses hemmed (with the right shoes) and they were both still way too long with wiggly hems. One was ready two weeks after the date i was quoted. Expensive for a sloppy job. The lady is very nice they are just too busy to do a proper job. Cannot recommend

I had a bridesmaid dress that was made terribly by another tailor. I recieved the dress one day before the wedding. I asked The Clothing Alterations Company to remake the dress, on the day of the wedding. They did such an exceptional job and I didn't even have time to thank them properly. They are the real deal.

Incredibility incompetent staff. Unclear and false accounting with paperwork in addition to cash only policy doesn't help with their payment system.Benefit of the doubt could be given to their current staff training programme. But under any circumstances it shouldn't be at the expense of the welfare of the consumer.Do not recommend.

So angry and disappointed, used to love this shop. My mother went on Wednesday and the girl behind the counter tried to short change her by £10 and then when she collected my skirt she had brought in to be hemmed it was a terrible repair. Completely out of shape. Where has the lovely lady gone who was so talented? Now there are only incompetent rogues in this shop trying to rip off old ladies. You will lose all your business. I'd inevitably left buying a new suit and having it altered to the last minute. The ladies were brilliant -- incredibly fast turnaround despite being really busy and they did a fantastic job. Even pointed out and fixed a small tear in the seam that I hadn't noticed. Will definitely use again, albeit with a little more notice in the future :) Couldn't recommend higher!

I had a bridesmaid dress hemmed and new straps made. The hem is quite messily done with the stitching missing the fabric entirely on some spots. They also sewed the straps on crooked and I had to ask them to re-do them. I would have expected better workmanship after paying over 40 pounds for alterations.

Needed to get a dress altered and took it in only two days before the event (because I'm disorganised). They were very busy but they squeezed me in and it was ready in the nick of time. Great.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I paid £35 to slightly shorten sleeves on a jacket. Having looked more closely at the jacket, the tailor hasn't even used a sewing machine to do the job. The hand stiching looks terrible and is a poor job, it looks like it will not hold up for long. To be honest, I could have done a better job of hand stitching. Avoid this place as they obviously think they can rip people off.

Lovely employees! They helped me on the way to a wedding with a dress malfunction within 5 minutes. Really grateful for their help!

Terrible overpriced repair service. I paid around £20 to have elbow patches fitted to a jumper and these were fitted well below the elbow and just single stitched. The repair at the back which I paid £6 for consisted of them attaching one safety clip across the small hole. I should have checked the repair before I left the shop, and probably never have wasted my time going to this shop in the first place.
