The Town Moor
The town moor is a fabulous wide open moor in the middle of Newcastle city. Gifted to the people of Newcastle it stands out as a perfect green space on which no one can build. Used every day by joggers and cyclists and dog walkers . Certain times of the year cows graze openly ,and in June it has been visited by one of the biggest fair ground for many years. Prevented in last couple of years only by the pandemic.

The Hoppings! One of the best entertainment spots for families, although most rides are scary! But a must visit, totally worth it

Visited here for Hoppings 2023, allegedly the largest fair in Europe with over 400 attractions. What I will say is that it surpassed my expectations with dozens of big rides.

Such an excellent expanse of green open land, for use by everyone. Absolutely a gift, having this so close to the city centre. Always enjoy indulging a walk here, my GF's dog was loving life there too, bounding around with such vigor.

The town moor is an amazing spot to get some wide open space and some dramatic views (from on top of cow hill). It's a good dog walk and running spot although there are cows here from roughly April till October. Access to exhibition park from here too.

The Town Moor
I hadn’t been there in a number of years and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plenty police and security which was nice to see. The rides I went on weee amazing, myself and partner had a lovely few hours there. Glad that the Town Moor got some good weather this year as they haven’t the last few.
