A great public library that is not overcrowded

Wow! What a wonderful place this is. I used it today and only problem was finding the library as my Sat Nav seriously needs updated and my A to Z is in tatters. Nevertheless got there and was highly impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that nothing was too much bother. A lovely young lady arranged for me to get access to a mediatheque booth and set it up for me, looked up my requested programme and provided me with headphones that she apologised for as the cable was ridiculously long and that the sound was not wonderful but the library were on the case. Turned out the sound was fine even to a partially deaf person like me. Many thanks to everybody at this library it was a real pleasure to come 30 odd miles to experience the Mediatheque and the helpfulness and politeness of staff. It is clear that you care about the library users and I most certainly will be back. Well done!!!

I love reading so this is my favourite place, made all the better by such welcoming lovely staff, always very willing to help. Enjoyed many cups of tea in the cafe also.

Very.. very nice people and Jenny help me alot on Saturday, Jan 2022 which I will not forget about her kindness taking over one hour to consider me from starting to finish... she is a compassion kind ly dealing with people and also like to help everyone...I wish her all the best in her feature and other staff...

Excellent place to vist

The Past Times Cafe in this library has the slowest service I've ever encountered. Myself and 4 workmates went down to try it out. Some of us only have 45 mins for lunch. 25 minutes in, the 1 staff member there had only served two of us. Mainly because the she seemed to need to hear each person's life story in infinite detail.To make matters worse, every time someone actually got to order something, she asked the whole queue if they wanted that same thing too?

I’ve started using this Library in January & have received a warm welcome by the staff. In my area there is no library with appropriate study areas, so I travel to this one to use - such a friendly atmosphere, nothing is a hassle for the staff.There is good parking around the building.

I went to read and do some studying in this liblarly before .. I through liblarly is meant to be quiet although the staff were talking very loud and other visitors were being also pretty loud as well there is some signing with babies which is cute and nice but not for people who want to read the book or focus on studying , after the singing club the ladies that toke part were talking very loudly no matter what table you sat on you would hear noise same as including the staff members talking or being loud if you looking for quiet place I highly wouldn’t recommend this liblarly
