I went in Bonds this week for the 1st time. I have short hair but wanted an extreme cut.Harley did exactly what I asked for, he listened to me and gave me a great style and very friendly too.If you want a great cut / style, then definitely book or walk in to see him.Thanks Harley.

Great cut from Jay.My son had a great haircut at Bonds on Saturday, very welcoming experience with tea and coffee offered on arrival, my sons hair was cut by Jay (an apprentice) who was very professional. Jay was fantastic, he was shadowed by two other barbers there, they all showed excellent attention and detail to the cut itself. It’s also worth mentioning the care of understanding from all the staff there towards my son who has ASD, their patience was commendable and we felt very comfortable there. Thank you to James, Lisa and Josie for the great experience, my son is very happy with his new look! We will definitely return!

I rarely write a poor review publicly, but in this instance I wanted to share disappointment for advice to the owners, the barber and other future customers. So we dropped in, as passers by to the area, for my son, who has a reasonably long floppy blond fringe and wanted a few cm’s taken off so he could see better for his rugby tournament in the morning. He asked for it to be taken to his eye brows (say a cm off). It was cut to an extremely short and particularly bad quality (say about 4cm taken off). Sides were graded unevenly. Fringe was badly feathered. My lad burst into tears leaving. And taking time to look at him I quickly realised why. I wanted to take him back in but he refused to, saying he would not trust the team to put right any aspect and feared of having even more cut off. He was immediately wanting to wear a hat and let it grow out. That’s not a sign of a good hair cut!Please please please listen to this advise. Listen to your customers carefully. Get to understand what they want doing. A hair cut may not always be full on. A trim, a tidy at the sides, means just that. Doing this wrong can effect people’s confidence, outfacing image, their libido!My son who as all young kids do, suffers confidence challenges at times, and has subsequently been well off beat, head down, quiet due to his new look and lack of self confidence.:-( as a father, I really am cross with myself at taking him here and not stepping in. I wish we had not dropped in here…
