Lovely items for the home. Plants are healthy and looked after. It's quite expensive though. Especially the Christmas section. Restaurant is ok, bit pricey. Dogs are allowed. Obviously, well behaved ones. It's card payments only. Which is why I only gave 4 stars. Should give the customers the option. Some people prefer to pay by cash.

Nice enough garden centre, good stock however probably won't visit again. Disappointed no option to pay by cash, a shame choice is taken away from customers and also as at the till it seems I should have paid in the area I selected items from, I didn't see any signs and I didn't want to walk all the way back so just left the items near the till.

Not a good experience. We ate in the cafe and the food was good. There was several large dogs in the cafe which we felt was not right. When I was three I was attacked by a dog and the horror is still with me at 76. We will not be back.

Outing with my mum and daughter, bit of retail therapy and a spot of lunch. Plenty of choice for footwear, clothing, plants and animal care, as well as cards, books and garden ornaments. Thoroughly enjoyable few hours and a lovely cuppa and sandwich in the cafe, options of hot meals and yummy looking cakes too.

Lovely place. Fully stocked with beautiful items. Only thing was counter by door going out was told to pay by Card, not cash. A lot of people carry cash around.

Good garden centre. Lots of women and kids clothing. Hardly anything for men except wellies and gloves!

I have enjoyed visiting this garden centre for several years, and in particular, the cafe/restaurant, approximately 3 times a month. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. I can’t fault them. It’s the management of certain aspects I’m unhappy with. The roast dinners used to be served on larger plates and customers could help themselves to a good selection of vegetables. The plates are much smaller than previously and staff dish up the food. Vegetables are limited. Yet the price has shot up, way past the rate of inflation. Coffee and cakes, great selection but some of the prices are stopping people buying them. Mostly the scones are excellent, but recently, on one particular day they were all virtually inedible and I mentioned it to a member of staff. I heard other people complaining about them too. This week they looked up to their high standard so I had one. The server put 2 of those small pieces of packed butter on my plate and I asked for another (the scones are a good size and 2 butters, in my opinion, are not enough. I was told that I had to pay 25pence for each additional piece. Shocking!! I said as much (whilst refusing to pay that and going without that extra little bit) and was told it was to save waste. Whilst I agree that waste isn’t good, I voiced my opinion that 25pence is ridiculous, why not 10 pence? It’s smacks of sheer greed by management. A rethink on pricing strategy is needed.

Not been for a while, but still good for a brunch or snack (or lunch) in the large cafeteria (we prefer an early brunch when it's not too busy), and a pleasant browse round. More covered area/s now, so virtually all under cover. Plenty of plants, garden tools etc and various other wares to view. The grandchildren always like the tropical and pond fish and aquariums area.

Very helpful & knowledgeable friendly assistants, even towards the close of day. Lovely environment to shop in, light airy, a little pricey. I bought plants on man with hearing aid advice, he is an asset to your company... I wanted to purchase a toffee apple tree.....unfortunately not currently available.
