Not long moved to the area...1st time visiting here to watch the SA v France game...as soon as walked in could see this was not the right environment (26 years London doorman experience) the place was over run with roudy travelers 2 sheets to the wind approximately 30 males and 20 females and more arriving all the time...we bought 1 drink and decided to leave when they started throwing beer over the pool table they were playing on....you couldn't hear the TV so no chance of hearing the game when it came on. We all left and took a load of other game watches with us and put good money in another venues till and had a good atmosphere. 1st and last time there EVER

It's a down to earth pub. great staff. Best in summer where you can sit outside and let kids roam all over

Nice little place. Cheaper drinks than the pub! Perfect now its summer to sit outside and enjoy the greenery

Great value for money and lots of space for the kids to play safely while you can watch them. Great spot for a family day out

Very relaxing atmosphere for having events.The grounds are suitable for football and cricket games.It lies in a supportive community and events are well attended and supported.

Enjoy a drink here. Bar staff are friendly. Prices are better than the pubs. Superb open space.

Best night i ever had, great staff and there was irish travellers there and they were the best company in the world. Definitely will recommend and go again.

This review is based solely on the bbq event they had today 28/07/2023.The event ran from 1700 - 2130, I arrived at 1800 and was disappointed with the event. I thought there would be much more than there was.There were only a few food caterers that took my fancy, grabbed a pizza by thr curly sisters and that was very nice.After this, around 1830-1900, we wanted to try Kings comfort food but they had already sold out completely which is ridiculous for a professional catering company to take a slot up at a venue which shuts at 2100 only to not bring enough stock and sell out within 2 hours of the event starting.Disappointed, we went and queued for another stall, I think called Wilson Street food, which whilst queuing then sold out of the only thing I wanted.We noticed then a queue for 1 stall which was almost across the entire field...We gave up and left.Edit after reply - as there is no official place to leave feedback/reviews for the event itself, I felt compelled to leave it this page
