A quiet station on the Merseyrail Northern Line. It has a staffed ticket office and toilet. Trains are every 15 minutes and travel between Southport and Hunts Cross. The station is on Knowsley Road off Aigburth Road but not signposted.

Such a beautiful period Victorian/Georgian arquitecture area. The Rail Station is awesome coming right from a Charles Dickens book. Sometimes you ask yourself if you are in a theatre or in real streets with historical houses so well taken cared and preserved. It's a feast for the eyes.

Nice little train Station. Only a 10 Minute ride to Liverpool centre. Historic atmosphere and, at least compared to Germany, cheap Ticket prices

Train station is well kept, but could be improved by placing in a ramp or a lift so it is accessible for disabled people.

Nice period architecture and leafy surroundings, in fact just about as perfect a throwback to the days of steam as one will find anywhere in the country (at least in suburban settings). However, parking space on the road directly outside the station entrance is extremely limited and prohibited completely on other roads in the area (where, unusually, enforcement is in the hands of a private company – you have been warned). Stairs only down to platform level.
