Disgraceful service..I was referred to by the NHS for a Eye problem..ive now had 2 appointments cancelled at the last minute only to be told the consultant has cancelled the clinic twice..Ive now been given a appointments in July which can't be guaranteed that this won't get cancelledAbsolutely appalling placeAVOID!!

My appointment fro cataract surgery was at 2.30pm I wasnt called until almost 3.30 when I was taken to another room where i waited almost 45 minutes after being told someone would be along to help me shortly. I was eventualy seen by another person and eventually by the surgeon.6 weeks later I recieved my follow up call, I was asked about problems and when i said I had some was promised a call back by a clinician later that day.... 8 days later i decided i had to call them if i wanted anything done. Not Impresessed at all.

Every one was fantastic. From nurses to the surgeon, took the time to explain what they were do or what they are about to do. I was so relaxed, not once did I feel any pain, over in minutes. Surprised me how quick and nimble the operation was. I was quite capable to walk back to the nurses station where a cup of tea was offered, while the nurse explained my eye drops .THANK YOU LITFIELD HOUSE. Merry Christmas.

I recently spoke with Tanya Arshad ( Assistant Clinic Manager) and Lucy her assistant regarding my recent procedure for the removal of a cataract.Both were attentive to my questions which were fully answered to my satisfaction, and left me totally confident that I was dealing with a first class company. Whilst I'm sure the clinic is great at what they do in terms of surgery and the clinic was very clean etc. my experience was poor.Despite having the same address throughout my dealings with Newmedica and having confirmed these details and having had all correspondence sent directly to me at my address, it wasn't until 24hrs before my scheduled surgery that I received a call to tell me that they had just notice they do not cover my postcode area. So I now have had to start the very long process to surgery from the very beginning, again. So not great, sorry.

Third cataract procedure ( problems with first one) the second & third was carried out by Mr Keller which was first class. The only moan is they tell you someone would phone next day to check if everything is ok, on any of the three ops no one as actually contacted me.

Caring and professional staff from start to finish. I had my cataract removed on my right eye yesterday the whole procedure was painless and the medical staff lovely and reassuring. Definitely getting my left eye done after the new year .

I have just had cataract surgery for my second eye, five weeks after the first. I would not hesitate to give 5 stars to Newmedica. All the staff were very professional whilst at the same time friendly, helpful and reassuring. The results are fantastic, many thanks to the consultant and team and everyone involved.

I have just had cataract surgery to my left eye i.e. new lens (I had a detached retina in the same eye earlier this year).The staff at Newmedica were brilliant; efficient, informative and very professional. The procedure was painless.24 hours after the operation, my eyesight is amazing. I have no pain or discomfort whatsoever.Many thanks to you all.
