Lamington Apartments

Nice flat in lovely neighborhood. Sure, not super central, as mentioned in other reviews, but close to metro stations. A bit noisy and warm, we couldn’t quite figure out how to turn the heating down. But we enjoyed our stay. Good deal for London standards

The apartment is in a perfect location. There is an underground station and a bus station within minutes. On the other side of the block there is a small grocery shop, 2 wine bars and a coffee shop. The house was fully equipped. It’s a two bedroom apartment with a double bed in one room and a twin room. There is also a backyard! It’s very cozy and perfect for family or two couples. I definitely recommend it!

HelloThank you for asking about our stay. I must be honest and say that our experience at the apartment was quite disappointing. The reality of the apartment was nothing like what was advertised or depicted in the photographs we saw prior to our arrival. We felt completely misled and let down by the discrepancy.Upon entering the apartment, we immediately noticed that it was quite filthy. There was a significant amount of dust accumulated in various areas, and to our dismay, we even found food remnants in the couch. The lack of cleanliness was truly off-putting and not at all what we expected.Another issue we encountered during our stay was the abundance of flies in the room. It was rather unpleasant and made it difficult for us to enjoy our time in the apartment. We made several attempts to keep them at bay, but their presence remained persistent.Furthermore, the rooms were uncomfortably hot, especially during the night. Despite our efforts to cool down the space, it was challenging to get a good night's sleep due to the excessive heat. This significantly impacted our overall experience and left us feeling quite exhausted during our stay.Given these circumstances, we wanted to bring these matters to your attention in the hope that they can be addressed to prevent similar issues for future guests. We believe that it is crucial for accommodations to accurately represent what they offer to guests, both in terms of cleanliness and amenities.We appreciate your understanding and hope that appropriate measures will be taken to rectify these concerns. We liked the apartment very much but it is a little more outside of the Center of London. You have to change the train at least one time per destination. The district itself is a little lovely with a lot of possibilities to go out and visit restaurants. The apartment was a little pricy for the location which is - as I already said - not very central.

It was a nice apartment, I gave it 3 stars for the rooms because it is quite noisy. These houses are from 1967 so the walls are thin and also the floors. Someone enters the upstairs apartment and you think he or she is entering your apartment. Difficult also to reach the reception for issues. When we wanted to contact the reception we had to send an email at the end where admittedly we received a reply the next morning.

Old, run down, noisy and uncomfortable. Other than that location is good.Bedrooms right above 7 air conditioning condenser units! Impossible to sleep at night. At least until they close the restaurant below past midnight.Very different to what you think you book online. Pictures between what they sell and what you get are very different!

Used to be Lovely apartments, however nowadays it’s not up to what it used to be, rooms isn’t always as it looks in pictures, staff and service are on poor quality. I have always been regular customer but I don’t recommend it anymore especially with current prices and for families

It was a pretty simple setup but very convenient and well located for public transport. Whilst not super luxury, it was more than adequate, and I would definitely stay again

Beautiful old apartments spread out over a few blocks. Unfortunately the apartment we are staying in is lacking in extra towels and bedding. The bathroom was not clean. The only way to pull the blinds up in the kitchen as well as the dining room is to stand on a chair to be able to grab the cords . With the heat wave we are having there is only 1 floor fan and no AC.
