Really good service. Communication was prompt (e.g. alerting us to when our part had arrived and when the technician would turn up) and the technician was polite and cleaned up after the work. He had to return with the spare part, which took some time to fit, so it was excellent value for money as well. I must admit that we didn't check the price of the part online, but if you add in the cost of doing that, ordering it and then finding somebody else to fit it, I suspect it would work out a lot more expensive.

Phone call to say engineer was 30mins away was very helpful. Work to carry out repair to dishwasher was over and done with in about an hour. Tidy worker, asked for towels and basin to mop up water. Good service, very pleased with the work done.

Don’t often give a review with companies but I found Repairs 4 U to be exceptional!Had a washing machine which broke down that I had someone come out to have a look previously and said I need a new one then took my money and left...I felt something wasn’t right with the guys decision so I wanted a sencond opinion and got these guys out...Booked me in to come out a few days after, engineer came (didn’t speak much English mind you but was very smiley and polite) He fixed the washing machine with a pump unit thing and it worked perfectly afterwards!So... I didn’t need to buy a new washing machine in the end!!!Also want to say a big thank you for all that you did :)Very happy with the customer service over the phone too.

Easy to book online and the engineer arrived promptly. Gentlemen was efficient, knowledgeable and had my Hotpoint machine working within an hour, fantastic service. I certainly recommend this company to family, friends and all reading reviews.

We organised for someone to come to repair our washing machine. The problem was straightforward and took a few minutes to confirm. The man said that they did not have the part in stock. When I asked him roughly how long the part would take to order he was very noncommittal and would not tell me if it was likely to be days or months. He also would not give me ANY idea of a rough price when I asked if he thought it would cost more or less than £100. He happily took our payment of £72 (which is meant to cover all labour costs regardless if return visits are required). When he left I said to my partner that surely it is not in his interest to come back, drive here and work when there is no further labour costs. The next day we received a huge quote of £350! Needless to say we did not ask them to do the work. If there is any chance they will have to make a return visit DO NOT USE this company as there is no incentive for them to come back and will give you an overinflated quote if they dont want to do the work. They will happily take your money for the quick 10 min assessment instead! Money down the drain.

We have a 20+ years old oven and the main temperature control knob was broken. We did not really want to get rid of the oven as it is still very good and works a charm but it is just that the temperature does not turn off when we want it to nor can we control the temperature anymore.Found this company online and their labour cost is quite reasonable, paid via PayPal and got a further discount.The Engineer that attended quickly found the issue and offered the solution. Though I did find the parts' prices high but they are genuine manufacturers parts and the chap I spoke with on phone did say that if we can find cheaper parts, they will happily fit them. In the end after looking, I could not find cheaper genuine versions so I accepted their offer.Parts replaced and the oven is working as it was before - more importantly no extra cost for second visit. Hopefully, it will last another 20+ years.Company and Engineer (same on both visits) were easy to interact with. Labour price was very reasonable and they got the job done effective / efficiently. Would definitely use again for my other appliances...

The booking system was easy. I received an email confirmation as well as a notification text message before the engineer arrived on the day. The engineer was professional and polite - replaced the door seal part and made sure the washing machine was up and running before leaving. Great job!

I booked an appointment and got a price online very easily. The next available appointment was 48 hours away. I received a text message half an hour before the engineer's arrival which was useful. The engineer was able to diagnose and fix the problem, although his English was not fluent. He seemed highly-skilled and experienced, and polite and respectful of my home. The visit lasted about an hour and I was left with a fixed washing machine. Happy with that.

Despite knowing the model number and name of the dishwasher he still turned up with the wrong part. Rather than say I will get the right part, he just demanded I pay the full price for his time and the diagnostic he ran. The diagnostic being him turning the machine on and off. I refused to pay and 30 mins later he clearly modified a pipe that did not fit and put it on. I was charged £100.90 and left with the old pipe laying on the floor and the kitchen tiled floor completely covered with water. I have had no receipt of payment that you would get from a reputable tradesman. My wife just got an email confirming the invoice.I have no idea if the work is under warranty, if it will last or why indeed he did not turn up with the correct pipe.I do not recommend this service. You live and learn. please learn.

On the first visit the engineer decided that the pump was faulty, but as the user and knowing how the machine was pumping out intermittently, I knew that it was not. They wanted £50 plus VAT for a new pump so I decided to source my own for under £11. The engineer came a second time and fitted the new pump which worked while he was here but did not work when I put in a wash. I had to call him in again and this time it was decided that the water heater was not working. For this, they wanted £35 and some odd so I decided to obtain one myself. This cost me under £9. The fourth time the engineer came, he replaced the heater and now my machine is working fine. The engineer was polite and tidy in his work but their charges for parts could have been a bit more reasonable. I would recommend them if you require your washing machine repaired but feel you would save money if you purchased any required parts yourself.
