Dropped in for lunch. Very impressed by the meal which was cooked to our specific dietary needs and was absolutely delicious. Lovely, traditional country pub which we will definitely be visiting again.

Decent place. Stayed for 2 nights, beds were comfy and tea & coffee was provided- Although I would advise taking your own toiletries, as none provided (including hand soap) as well as no bath mat. Breakfast wasn’t great, my grandparents food was cold, and our breakfasts were overcooked which was a shame due to the great location, value for money and lovely staff.

Mixed review for this one.Lovely pub.The room’s certainty weren’t as luxurious as advertised and not like the pictures. It was dated compared to the pictures. Decent, large room and comfy bed. Unfortunately, the toilet didn’t work properly and there was a red alarm light that lit up the room (not quite as bad as the pic though). I know the room problems are brewery issues, not management issues and it’s a shame it reflects on management and loses them money in the longer run.We were the only people eating dinner, which may be why the food wasn’t good at all. Breakfast was great though.Staff were fantastic…Justin, Debbie & Rosie especially were brilliant.

First of all we never give 5 star ratings unless places are exceptional. We found our stay at The Burlton Inn to be friendly warm and welcoming. Staff very helpful. Our room was tidy and spacious and well appointed with a comfy bed. Bathroom very much the same. Overall a pleasant overnight stay. The only thing we were dissapointed with was the fried breakfast. It just wasn't up to the standard required in this industry. Sorry guys, we hope this is constructive. Best wishes.

Good food, pretty location but, need a car to get to the many interesting places. Made welcome. Very comfortable, a second chair in the room would have been nice. Value for money.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Food was excellent, they obviously have a very experienced chef. Service was friendly and efficient and they produce an excellent chocolate fudge cake and and espresso to follow. If you've not yet paid them a visit you're missing out :)

Slightly off the beaten track but seems very popular. Super friendly service. Fantastic prices on food. We were even able to get some laundry done which is important when traveling.

On behalf of my parents - they really enjoyed their stay here! The breakfast was amazing, was a lovely atmosphere in the pub too. The rooms were clean, but do need updating (which they were told is in the pipeline). The staff were all friendly + welcoming - especially the owners, nothing was too much trouble. Overall, they had a lovely break for their first visit here, so it certainly won't be their last. Mr + Mrs Fothergill
