Used this company to have chimney repointed, , tiles taken off and waterproof membrane layed, new lates, tiles relayed, new lead round chimney, all work done professionally, lads turned up on time, and worked steadily all day, they were very polite and explained everything that was being done.Have no worries recommending this company

From initial enquiry to job completion the team at A Star were professional and ensured everything was done to the highest standard. A Star replaced our roof and fitted new fascias and guttering. Came out to quote, arranged return visit for a week later but didn't come out, gave him a second chance and he again didn't show again, this time also ignored his phone. As i mistakenly took Adrian to be good to his word i have been left with a leaking roof and empty promises for 3 weeks.Best to get someone more reliable!!

From initial contact quote was delivered very quickly as well as a date for the work to take place. There was a delay due to supply issues but communication was great. The lads who came to do the job were fantastic and the work looks great. If you’re unsure about having work done I’d urge you to give A STAR a try, highly recommend.

Adrian came and fitted us a new roof on an extension, this is now leaking. He also shiplapped our outside office and made a horrendous mess of it. He arranged to fix it, but never came back. He says he guarantees his work but it isn't worth the paper it is written on. Very unprofessional and unreliable. Adrian spent most of his time on the phone and his friend or partner did most of the work. If you picked him up on anything or mentioned something was out of alignment the partner got a real strop on. Save yourself some hassle and go to someone who won't mess you around. It may seem cheap, but it is better to pay a bit more to have someone do a proper job.
