Rising Brook Post Office

It's always a joy to use Rising Brook Post Office; the owners are friendly and welcoming, and although it can get busy at times, it's what you'd expect from a Post Office!

Cant comment on the actual postal service but as for the DVLA side of things I was belittled with snarkey comments on me not being able to fill out a form for a new licence that I litteraly came for help with as the form had been sent back to me once before and I just needed advice on it so I could have my licence back in time to take my bike test, the form came back though AGAIN showing me exactly what was filled out wrong even though the bloke behind the counting incharge of DVLA paperwork stated what should be filled out i did as he said and I'm now without transport and a licence over a month later.....

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Really unhelpful and unpleasant wanted to know difference between post office services and he asked me to just too make my mind up. Slammed my change on counter without a thank you. Gone are the days when the post office was the hub of the community.....certainly no community spirit in this one.

Great friendly staff and helped me sort out my driving licence renewal with no fuss at all.

I use this post office regularly. Never had anything other than great service. Both are friendly polite and professional. I have seen difficult customers which when confronted the staff still act professional.

Friendly staff, nicely laid out, but needs to return to normal opening hours ASAP as we are having to travel to other post offices in the area 12.30 close is no good to a lot of people

Where do I start? Just had to put in a complaint so thought I'd come here and share. What's the point in having your open times online and on your door if you can't be bothered to open up? That and he just doesn't have the people skills required to do such a job. Very sarcastic and always has to make snide comments. Insulted my mum the once so I went round to have a chat because he had bitten my head off a few days before and typically, he had shut when he should have been open which I think was a very wise thing for him to do that day. If the owners reading this, you are going to speak to the wrong person like dirt one day. It's not a good look when you launch people parcels with fragile lables into the bags right infront of them. It's also not fair that people are walking from Burton Manor to your post office just to have to carry on walking to Silkmore Co-op or up Went Way. Specially when the only place you can top-up British Gas is at the post office. I feel like the owner has a real life problem for him to be the way he is to his customers and I hope he gets help with it soon. Either that or just a very un-fixable, bitter, vile old man who should just retire. This post office has slowly become a common subject round this area and I'm sure the other reviews also give you an idea what this place is like.

Always make an effort to use this branch, As I find it to be well laid out and the service to be always pleasant and friendly.Didnt know their names were Roy and Hilary.But a big thank you for excellent service in the past.
