Earl Kendrick have been the most unprofessional surveyors - They ignore phone calls, emails and letters of complaint while our construction project is on site going to pot which they are meant to be managing as contract administrator, and they do not issue weekly site reports as promised.They also grossly underpriced the cost of the job by 33%.Avoid at all costs!

I have used EKA for many years, most recently Michael Burkinshaw, to specify a 4 phase roof replacement project. What I value most about EKA is their willingness to meet on site, view, discuss and explain an issue and/or a solution to me and my clients. Of most importance is the way they do this. I am not a surveyor and nor are my clients yet things are explained, demonstrated, shown and reported to us in a no-nonsense, easy to understand manner both technically and financially.Good job EKA, thanks for all you do to help me provide a great service to my clients.

Excellent knowledge and setup on buildings that require support on Cladding, Licences for Alterations, and requirements under the Building Safety Act.

Terrible company, worked on a block of 207 flats for me, terrible from start to finish, recommended a supplier that wasn’t the cheapest and blew the contingency budget within the first few weeks without asking for approval, largely on something above the agreed spec. They were rarely on site, missed countless obvious issues, didn’t inspect a huge amount of the work.One year after the work finished we have downpipes falling off the building, Velux windows leaking. Velux windows that were never inspected! Now we are being asked for thousands to repair shoddy work and Earl Kendrick don’t even bother responding to emails, not that senior management responded when issues were escalated during the work.Recommended by R&R, who are equally terrible! AVOID unless you want to just hand a load of money for nothing. I could have made better decisions, spent less money and had less issues if they were not involved!In the attached image you can see the daylight outside in a gap you could put your fingers in under the window. Not that Earl Kendrick would know as they never even inspected the windows they were paid to sign off!Incompetence on a scale I’ve never seen by any “professional” organisation.Avoid or just burn your money while having the displeasure of dealing with them.

During my time at Rendall and Rittner I have worked with Andrew Banister on a number of projects including Major works, licence to alters, diagnosing defects etc. I would highly recommend Andrew and his team for all of your property surveying needs.

I can't speak highly enough of Earl Kendrick. I had water damage to my flat, which necessitated extensive work throughout. Mike was brilliant throughout the process with the loss adjuster, insurance company and building contractors. Extremely professional and skilled at managing the various parties involved and moving everything along. And extremely knowledgeable, with an eye for detail, ensuring the work completed was comprehensive and that there'd be no lingering issues that might cause problems in the future. Great job!
