KD Gymnastics

Play and stay for toddlers is lots of fun and a good place to let your little ones let off steam. The range of springy & soft toys to play with, including trampolines and pillow pits is good and with ample of space to run about, it's a good choice and at £5 for an hour it's good value. My only gripes, and reason for not giving it 5 stars are two fold. Firstly the floor could definitely be cleaner (feels like it needs a good hoover!) but the equipment seems ok as the staff clean in-between play sessions so this is a relief. And secondly, they charge £5 per adult, so if, like me, you have a baby and a toddler and want to take another adult with you to help ensure both very different demands are met well, it turns out a poor value choice in my view and so sadly I'll not be back for some time.

KD Gymnastics is great, large and well equipped. Classes cater for all ages and free play offered through the week. Would recommend.

Our grandson loves the tots sessions here. There is so much for him to do. It is a great place for youngsters to burn off some energy. They are also introduced to various pieces of gym equipment in a safe environment.

Awesome place, couldn't be more supportive of my daughter. All three of my children have been coming here for years, in various squads and all the coaches are great, through the good times and the bad. It's like family, couldn't recommend it highly enough :)

We moved to the area last summer and I was quick to sign my daughter up, as she was struggling a lot with physical things and really lacked confidence with physical activities, but loved watching gymnastics. At the time of starting she wouldn't even do a balance beam walk on a kerb or even a painted line without holding at least one hand. She couldn't/wouldn't hop, skip or jump over/onto even very low things. This had all changed by Christmas and she is now a confident bouncy ball jumping, skipping, hopping, rolling, and climbing. I cannot thank them enough, as I thought we would need to find additional help. I also want to thank the admin/office team. I'm autistic and have dyslexia and ADHD. They have been so kind and patient with me. I've required additional support and they have been wonderful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm so glad to have found you and wish I was a kid so I could come too.

This place is so much fun and great for children! It's great for a gymnastics after school club but also great for birthday parties!

Awesome place for kids to learn Gynastics. You can hire the venue for kids birthday parties too. Staff is super friendly!

My daughter has been going to KD for the past 5/6 months and really enjoys it. The coaches are superb and really do offer a lot of encouragement and praise to the children that attend….recently they held a competition as the children were supposed to compete outside of the club but it was sadly cancelled so the coaches stepped in and put on an amazing replacement. My daughter was sooo happy. Happy child = happy mummy. Thankyou KD x

Took my 4 year old to an open session which was advertised as 0-5 years but it was definitely an older age range. I was worried about taking him in case it was babies & smaller toddlers but he was one of the youngest in the room & some kids were easily 10 or 11.The equipment was good & it’s decent place, just a bit disappointed for him that there weren’t children his own age to play with & he had to avoid some of the much bigger kids on the trampolines.They should probably run separate sessions for older & younger kids if they know older kids want to attend so you can be sure of what you are taking the younger ones to.I’d also add that the environment didn’t seem the most welcoming, it seemed like there was perhaps a bit of a clique with what I presumed were the regulars & no one spoke or even made eye contact with me or my son the entire time we were there. It was unusual as he is very chatty & friendly so would typically speak to people wherever we go

Not at all parent-friendly. It's reasonably well-equipped and the kids seem to have a decent time, but - unlike most other gymnastics centres - there is no viewing gallery for parents, nor even a coffee machine. Instead, you have to sit in a windowless room for an hour unable to watch your child. It's like being in a holding cell. They easily have the space to create a viewing area upstairs, so I don't know why they don't do it. Hard to recommend on that basis.
